Favorite Movie Scene/moment

Alright, there are a bunch of threads on favorite movies/songs/etc. but let's break it down just a little bit more. What are some of your favorite movie moments? They can be full scenes, single effects, a compelling exchange of dialogue, whatever. Wouldn't hurt to tell us why you chose those scenes/moments, either, if ya want. Pressed for time so I'll start off with just a couple: Trinity riding into oncoming traffic on the motorcycle in Matrix: Reloaded. Beatrix vs. O-ren's "Crazy 88" gang in Kill Bill vol. 1 Just about every battle in Braveheart. When all of the noblemen (I think) were starting to argue and the big bearded guy in Wallace's band pulls out his battle-axe and slams it down on the table, basically telling everyone to STFU. Also in Braveheart. I'll think of some more later.

The original Matrix movie with the lobby scene and the subway fight with him being chased. Probably the two big fights in the lord of the rings Also the fight in Pirates 1 between Captain Jack and Barbossa? is that his name, the effects in that part was really good when you turned into skeletons.

ballroom scene from Disney's Beauty and the Beast was an CG animation first, and really well executed Aerial rearing up on the rock in The Little Mermaid hey.......I was young Verbal Kint walking out of the police station in The Usual Suspects, and the whole unravelling of the story he told to the cops The ending of The Butterfly Effect (international version, not US version) it's just heart wrenching

Aerial rearing up on the rock in The Little Mermaid [/b] Hahah. You too, huh? Well she was pretty much the hottest animated Disney character...next to Jasmine. Heh. Oh...and Pocahontas. Anyway, speaking of which: The final battle between Jafar and Aladdin, especially when Jafar turns into the snake. That was badass. When Simba's Dad died in the Lion King. Damn. How powerful was that? The Fellowship vs. the Cave Troll in the first LotR. The Turtles vs. the Shredder on the rooftop in the first TMNT movie. The Werewolf transformations in Van Helsing. The "We can find them by watching our advanced copy of Spaceballs: the movie" bit in Spaceballs. The scene with the "crew from Aliens," in the diner, also in Spaceballs.

Jurassic Park: The T-Rex attacks the Jeeps on the main road. The climax, starting from the raptor attack in the kitchen. Spiderman 2: The El-train fight. Street Fighter - the Animated Movie: Chun Li vs Vega (what a badass fight ) (Hmmm...I need to start a "best fight" thread...I think it's obvious what most of my favorite movie moments are. Heh.) Predator: When they are all unloading on the jungle after "seeing" the Predator, and Mack is frozen with fear with his finger on the mini-gun trigger, so the chamber keeps spinning even after the bullets have run out.

Naruto - (SPOILER!!&#33 the death of Haku and Zabuza... maybe unbelievable... but REALLY well made the absolute last scene in Cowboy Bebop... (this one'll stay with ya forEVER) Trigun: the fight between Vash & Vicious... the last scene in gunslinger girl in Neon Genesis Evangelion: the End of Evangelion (movie) (SPOILER!!!!!&#33 when asuka dies. Bleach: the meeting between rukia and Ichimaru... (damn that one was good...) Bleach: when rukia is saved from ichimaru's attack... (i actually uttered a cry of joy in this one scene... such a beautiful twist you don't expect... absolutely VERY WELL DONE, BEAUTIFUL...) Neon Genesis Evangelion (the serie): (SPOILER!!!!!!!!&# 33;!!!!&#33 the death of Kaworu V for Vendetta: when the house of parliament is blown up (the last scene) i could name alot more.... but i can't remember them... to all who haven't seen these movies/series: GO WATCH THEM NOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!& #33;!

I'm just gettin the Vol. 4 of Naruto today!!! (or tomorrow ) I figured that would happen, but I still didn't want to hear it just yet! As for "V," I loved that whole movie. In... *think* oh, it's a movie based off of an older TV space-themed show where the family ends up being.... (DUH&#33 "Lost in Space." It's was an okay movie over all, but I loved when they did the stop-time scene. All of a sudden everything went dead silent for a few moments and you didn't even want to breathe.

Snatch: Scene with Mickey at his mums wake. Cool camera effects that reflect Mickey's drunkness. And the fight scene where Mickey is knocked to the floor, cool cam effect again, as mickey appears to have been dropped down into deep water, and is looking up at himself having the shit kicked out of him. Then the scene goes on to show Mickeys slo-mo one punch knockout - complete with saliva and sweat spray, as well as ripples in the other guys face. Anyone who hasn't seen Snatch I would recommend they go buy it....NOW! Take a look. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels The poker scene near the beginning has some cool cam effects. And yes, Lock Stock and Snatch, I am a Guy Ritchie fan.

Deep Impact -As Leo and Sarah stand upon the hill -As the Messiah crew sacrafice themselves Top Gun -The Death of Goose Happy Gilmore -"Your gonna die clown!" (Happy: After having his golf ball spit out by a clown on a minigolf course) -"The price is wrong, bitch!"(Happy: After beating up Bob Barker) -"Ya Jackass!"(Random guy taunting Happy, causing him to break concentration) The Hills Have Eyes -When Doug goes Super Hero There are more... Old School Tranquilizer in the neck scene. Chasing Amy Banky tells Alyssa why he doesn't go down on women anymore. Almost Famous Tiny Dancer scene. The Truman Show Climax ("In case I don't see ya...") The Matrix Reloaded Highway chase scene. Kill Bill Vol. 1 Lucy Liu monologue ("The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is...I collect your f*cking head.") Little Miss Sunshine Climax of the crazy driving scene, sliding door falls off van.

Favourite scene? Probably Schindler's List, the scene in the basement where Nazi officer Goethe(sp?) is basically in turmoil over his attraction to the Jewish maid (forgotten her name). It's just a brilliantly executed scene.

Star wars rofj- the fight between Barth Vader and Luke When Darth V saves Luke from the emperor Last HP- When Harry comes back at the end and cries- really good acting Highlander- When the man's wife dies in the flash back. Jurrasic Park- raptor scene in kitchen. Fantastic 4- When the human torch jumps off the balcony and gets chased by the rocket. Saving Private Ryan(spelling?)- D-Day scene at the beginning.
