I have one. I do not have an ID yet (the Wi-Fi thing I got from Nintendo was one of the defective ones that wouldn;t work with XP), but I just realised that that may change later today (laptop has Vista). I shall post the Wii ID/friend code/connect code/whatever when and if I get it set up.

Dude ScummVM on Wii? YAHHHH im using the D2Sun and my friends are using my homemade D2Clips and argon chips. I know my way around a soldering iron. And yah im gonna install that in the future.

Har har, I have a D2B system.. Enjoy your soldering. my personal system is a D2B with with cut legs. But i only use wii clips so that your warranty doesn't get voided. D2B is a little bit harder because if you want to have region free like me you need to use the D2Sun. I have the D2Sun and its a relatively cheap chip compared to the argons and is a massive chip that can do anything. It is also more reliable because it only needs 9 chips. I also have some 2 dollar wii-clips. But yea D2C is actually easier. Butnow en days its all the same to me. You can mod a wii without voiding the warranty (and yes I've sent mine nad my freinds wii's for warranty repair). All you have to do is open the wii and put the clip on the main control chip of the wii. No soldering, no connections, etc. Btw i have like a a bunch of videos of me soldering chips on my youtube channel...aceofspades1217

The clips are a good idea. I had to wire my Wiikey up directly (pins are not cut, though), so my warranty is void. Works like a charm though. No switch or usb though.

No switch or usb though. the new d2 sun is usb ugradable. one of the problems with wiikey is region free. I use usenet to download my wii games. SO sometimes there PAL and sometimes there NTSC

Interesting. What can the d2sun do about region compatibility that can't be done by patching the ISOs? I never have any troubles with regions nowadays.

hmm i just dont feel like going through the trouble of patching. besides the d2sun is just a really solid chip. That and i got it presoldered to a wii-clip straight from the factory in china for free.

Pffft, who hardmods their Wii anyways, Twilight Hack ftw! On a related note: Lately I've been playing Mr. Chupon's DS. He's too kind -- he downloads all the games that are too expensive for us to buy. But I guess that's what Spoiler for Punch: friends R4.

Pffft, who hardmods their Wii anyways, Twilight Hack ftw! On a related note: Lately I've been playing Mr. Chupon's DS. He's too kind -- he downloads all the games that are too expensive for us to buy. But I guess that's what Spoiler for Punch: friends R4. twilight hack is OK....but you have to jump through immense hoops to do it and use a bunch of SD cards. Its just not too practical. Oh and u need to own the twightlight princess which makes it a lot lot more expansive.
