Apparently my local theatres were not showing this movie, so I went all the way to the nearest AMC, paid a fortune for a popcorn the size of a soda can and sat down to watch the movie. After watching it, I concluded that it would have been a great movie if I had not seen it before. The theme of the movie was nothing new, but it didn't put me off, only kept it from being great. During the movie, I was caught up in the story and success, and also in the somewhat darker second half of the movie, but after seeing it, I can only say that it is worth your time. The real enjoyment I got out of it was that there are certain points where you find yourself asking what you yourself would have done, and how you would have responded. The cinematography was certainly a bit different, and the first half of the movie was great, but it slowly grinds to a halt and becomes monotonous toward the end. I can't do aything but recommend it though, especially as a casual movie. Now let me recover from the blow I took from the concession stand.
