      Good Hardcore/Metal/Screamo Music

So, fucking screamo rocks, hardcore rocks, and metal rocks.

I'm not talking about some "RAWR RAWRRRR" in a My Chemical Romance song or anything.

      I'm talking...

      Job For a Cowboy

      Best part is 0:30 seconds.

      Escape the Fate

      The beginning is fucking awesome.
      0:51 is pretty sweet, too.

      Sky Eats Airplane

The mix of electronica is fucking hardcore.

      The Devil Wears Prada

I don't know, this song is just awesome.

      Enter Shikari

For the more conservative rocker, a mix of electronica, less screamo, but still fucking sweet.

Best parts are the three claps, 3:20-3:37, and then everything after 3:37, just the synth in the backround.

      KillWhitneyDead

KillWhitneyDead is really weird because they use sound clips and breakdowns, that's about it. But this one is the most popular and probably the best?

Best part is.. "Wait a minute! I thought guns were bad!... FALSE. Guns are good!'

Okay, please keep the hate out of the fucking thread. I wasn't into screamo/hardcore/metal music until a month or so ago. Some music just takes a while to grow into you. So, take it easy. If it's not your style, don't bash.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

Killswitch is fucking awesome, When Darkness Falls is a great song.

Ever heard Underoath? Pretty badass screamo bad. Super religious, too - how does that work?

This one used to be my favourite for the longest time. Such a pumpup song - best part is at 2:18.

      I'll find some more later.

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.

Showbread - another super religious band that's good (The black guy left and their more recent albums have been mellowed out a lot, so I only listen to their old stuff)
They are obsessed by horror movies and many(if not all) of there songs have references to them or are about them entirely.
Dead By Dawn(a song about the Evil Dead movies)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af8IVH-9Ok8 (embedding disabled) This is the first song I ever heard by them.

Demon Hunter - yet another Christian band(although you can't really tell)
      Very Killswitch-esque

      At The Drive In
These guys are the fathers of The Mars Volta. Omar Rodríguez-López, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Paul Hinojos moved onto that from here.
This is post-hardcore, the grandfather of screamo.

The Number 12 Looks Like You

      Protest the Hero - Bloodmeat

Fucking kick ass song, crazy guitar licks, and awesome vocals. Probably my favourite hardcore song, I've been listening to it for like a year now like everyday, and it just never gets old. Also, the guitar has a bluesy/jazzy feel to it when you actually listen to it, which is pretty cool.

      PTH - Heretics and Killers

      Atreyu - Bleeding Mascara

      Sweet sweep-picking intro, good vocals.

      Atreyu - Honor

Ignore the video, but it's a great song.

      Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver

My favourite KSE song, a cover of Dio's Holy Diver. They took a classic and gave it a new edge.

      Lamb of God - Redneck

Can't forget about Lamb of God of course, definitely one of the best heavy metal/scream bands out there, with some of the best riffs. Redneck has an unforgettable guitar track.

Lamb of God - In Your Words

An example of their new material off Wrath. Just about any song by LOG is fucking amazing though, so check out some more too.

Have you heard these before? Not saturated with screaming, but it's the kind of metal that's grown on me, perhaps you'll enjoy it too.

      Dimmu Borgir- "Puritania"

      Strapping Young Lad- "Skeksis"
