Thread: What are the best Xbox360 games?

I'm looking for some more good games to buy.

The only game I've played so far that I didn't like was Gears of War 2, which was interesting (and fun because of that) at first, but then fffff. I returned it within the 7 days trial period at Electronics Boutique, I really didn't like.

I like shooters, RPGs, basically ANYTHING that has good and engaging gameplay and storyline is a must, graphics must be decent.

Recommend me the best Xbox360 games?

Third Person Shooter: Gears of war 2
First Person Shooter: Call of Duty 5
Racing: Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Fighting: Street Fighter 4
Horror: Dead Space

Someone else can do the other genres, I don't know much about them.

Saints Row 2 is awesome on so many levels. It's so ridiculous and over the top it's impossible to be NOT fun to play.

If you're into FPS, Halo 3 obviously.

Fallout 3 is also a really fun game to play.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is just plain awesome. I play that game, limbs flying off, blood squirting everywhere, people and demons dying left an right, while listening to "That's Amoré" by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. It's beautiful, really.

An older one, but I also enjoyed Ace Combat 6.

Never played them but I heard Mirrors Edge, Fable 2 and Dead Space are good.

Left 4 Dead is fun if you play with friends.

Saints Row 2 stays at the top of the list though.

I think Dead Space is a great game for you to get, based on what you're looking for.

It's got top of the line graphics (truly amazing), a very good storyline, it's a big long adventure game, and it's got great gameplay. Not to mention, you won't find a scarier game anywhere else. It's definitely worth a look.

Dead Space, Halo 3, Mirrors Edge, and The Orange Box (5 games for like less than the price of 1 now I think).

Definatly worth the buy.

If your going for Online games then I would suggest Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I really want to play Dead Space again D:

Mass Effect...it's action RPG in a Sci-Fi setting...multiple endings...multiple quests...choices effect the story, and it's not too non-linear like oblivion.

Blue Dragon...RPG along the lines of dragon quest. Once you get past the Akira Toriyama cuteness of it all...you'll see that you have a pertty decent game.

multiplatform I would recommend Assassins Creed, Grand Theft Auto IV, and HAWKX

Oblivion plus all the expansions (via the Marketplace).
