Ah well. They never really did anything new or interesting, but they have a few very good songs.

They were still together? I thought they broke up in the 90's. Well then, good. I hate their music and them personally. One of them was just a flat out John Lennon imitation who acted like an 8th grade schmuck in interviews. The fact that they kept getting called modern day Beatles, which I think they were trying to be, really put them on my shit list. Good riddance.

Is that journalist going for the asinine statement award or something? Of all of the phenomenal rock and roll bands to come out of Britain, the Beatles being one of them, people dare to say Oasis is the best? I really don't get that. Is it a practical joke on society or something?

They kind of moved away from that after the Britpop era, they were doing more electronic kind of stuff now.

Exactly. They also had nothing on Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Cream, Black Sabbath, The Faces, Hawkwind, Blind Faith, The Yardbirds, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. Britain's greatest rock and roll band ever?????

Yeah that's mainly the Guardian's fault. Even for a journalist that's pretty idiotic.

They split up before I had even heard of them?!?!

They never got on well as a band, especaily the two brothers. So much so that they have to sit in seperate boxes when watching Manchester play.

I use to love them, they provided me with my growing up music. Back in the 90's they was fantastic. Its only up to recent they been releasing bad albums.

They was good back in the 90's And everyone here in England knew they was on the rocks.
