Avatar the Last Airbender (show, not movie)

so, because of the upcoming movie I decided to watch the whole cartoon series online...and I have to say WOW it is great. The episodes themselves can be kind of simple sometimes but there is actually a lot of good humor and even better lessons in it. One of my favorite quotes is from one of the semi main characters Uncle Iroh

"You must never give in to despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength."

that quote is so epic and it was even more epic in its timing. This is one cartoon that is surely not just for kids.

Aye! After having seen the preview for the movie, and knowing that my best
friend had seen the series, I had also decided the watch the three seasons
online as well (and over only three days). Iroh, too, is one of my favorites, but
how can anyone pick favorites? I agree that the show does have its filler
episodes that have nothing to do with the main plot, but aside from that it's
nothing short of epic. The ending four episodes could have come from a movie
      by themselves.

What adds to the excellent layout of the story is the character depth. Azula
won out in that department for me, Zuko in close second. The writers really
brought out their emotions where it mattered and made a great display of their
      personal conflicts.

exactly, the character depth was nothing short of amazing. I really felt connected with some of these characters. There were even parts that had me choking up ><
