OMG&#33;&#33;&#33; Do you know how long it took modern day (rather old now) scientists to come up with a device that could add/subtract/multiple/divide? Hell, the first succesful machine to be able to do so was the size of an entire room. >_<

I saw that on Digg the other day, it really is a great find! One of the things I found interesting is that the more they study it, the more they're beginning to thing that it was almost a commonplace job for the blacksmith. The way it was put together makes it look like it wasn't the first time something along those lines was created, especially since everything fits perfectly.

I read about this last month in Discovery Magazine. I find it extreamly interesting. I just love when they discover how early humans invented complex technology. Just goes to show you how information can be lost for long periods of time.
