Medicine today is a joke; it only treats symptoms and is used as part of a greater money making machine. What gets me is people actually believe animals are experimented on for a greater good. The people making all the money and running the show do not care if the medicine treats the patient fully; what matters is that it merely doesn't kill them and treats symptoms (makes money). There are also lawsuit protection experiments, but this is another matter. My point is that animals are easily used and cheap.

Where do you get the idea that it is necessary? You have a choice. Medicine does not grow in pill form, and just because a doctor says you need chemo to survive cancer does not make it true. I do not claim to be an expert, but that is my point...none of us are. I would rather die than torment an animal, as would most people; yet they still support companies doing it. Not listening to one's own inner being has got to be the worst crime of humanity.
