      Hi.
I have read that there is a tehnique called "image streaming" which helps to do visualisation better.
I would like to know if someone did this and how vividly can visualize now (after doing this). Can you visualize as vividly as "real"? If you can (after image streaming), how well you could visualize before starting this?
Also, for me (when close my eyes, I see *very* vague impressions of different "images" - even if I think visually ) how much time you need to practice in order to increase vividness (to be almost as "real") ?

A frined of mine told me that he could visualize vividly as "real life" . He didn't image streaming or any visualisation tehnique; and I wonder if I can learn to visualize as vivid.

Hey, yeah I've tried this. I had really bad visualisation and could hardly picture an object in my mind. I decided to practice a bit, and so I just started with small objects, such as a coin or pen. I'd place them on a desk and try and observe the smallest detail, then I'd try and visualise them. After a while I'd try and visualise them spinning around, being stretched etc. Then I started counting, visualising the numbers in my mind as I went. I'd imagine '1' being written on a blackboard or exploding in fireworks or whatever I wanted. After a while of doing this I'd experiment trying to count to ten, visualising the numbers being written on top of each other on a blackboard and other complex stuff.

Basically once you get the hang of it you can experiment with things and get more complex. I actually got it to the stage where I could visualise things with my eyes open. I'd try visualising an apple sitting on the desk in front of me etc. It's lots of fun and pretty cool for wasting time and daydreaming. I haven't done it for a while, but every now and then I give it another shot.

How vividly was your images (with eyes closed)? They was comparable to real-life images ? Did you see colours?
