I am interested to see how different people think.
Personally, when I think to myself, it is pictures. But when I'm typing I see the letters as I type them and hear the words in my head. I often think to myself in "thought packets", sort of like pictures and feelings, and sometimes I have to repeat them in words. When I read I don't see words after a few minutes. Then the book becomes a series of sounds, images, and feelings. That is why I like reading more than watching movies. When I remember something, the memory comes to me almost on it's own, and it is like I am re-living it. Especially memories of dreams. In the morning I find it hard to do anything, because often it is as if I am in my dream again, and my "real" body continues in autopilot. When I imagine things, or visulize them, often it is against a black background, but if I imagine a number, the number is also black. I don't know how I can "see" the numbers that I imagine, probably because I still know what they are. If I have to imagine a lot of numbers, the ones that I need to remember for later in an equation often appear white. I still need to write a lot of numbers down though . I can imagine a smell, image, sound, or feeling, but I have trouble imagining taste. I can create original sounds, images, and smels. I can only imagine feelings that I have felt before, so that is probably just memory. I think that pretty much covers it.
I'm interested to hear other people's thought processes, although you don't have to go as in depth as I did.
