I am interested to see how different people think.

Personally, when I think to myself, it is pictures. But when I'm typing I see the letters as I type them and hear the words in my head. I often think to myself in "thought packets", sort of like pictures and feelings, and sometimes I have to repeat them in words. When I read I don't see words after a few minutes. Then the book becomes a series of sounds, images, and feelings. That is why I like reading more than watching movies. When I remember something, the memory comes to me almost on it's own, and it is like I am re-living it. Especially memories of dreams. In the morning I find it hard to do anything, because often it is as if I am in my dream again, and my "real" body continues in autopilot. When I imagine things, or visulize them, often it is against a black background, but if I imagine a number, the number is also black. I don't know how I can "see" the numbers that I imagine, probably because I still know what they are. If I have to imagine a lot of numbers, the ones that I need to remember for later in an equation often appear white. I still need to write a lot of numbers down though . I can imagine a smell, image, sound, or feeling, but I have trouble imagining taste. I can create original sounds, images, and smels. I can only imagine feelings that I have felt before, so that is probably just memory. I think that pretty much covers it.

I'm interested to hear other people's thought processes, although you don't have to go as in depth as I did.

Sometimes I think so deeply that I cannot remember what I had done just a moment ago. Sometimes I find that I am holding objects like pencils in my hand that I have no idea where I picked them up from due to this extremely deep thought.

One thing I have always wondered is how are other peoples internal calanders aranged? How are the months aranged? Is it divided down the middle like you are entering another year after December ends? Is it a straight strip of months? Does anyone get what I am saying or do you have no idea what I am talking about? Do others even have these internal calanders?

Is it impossible or possible that colors exist in the universe that have never met human eyes? Colors that we would be dazzled to see because we simply have never seen them before. Do humans even see all the same colors as each other? Is my blue your purple? Have I ever seen your purple?

Everything Is a movement including emotions.

Apparently we exist without existing. What is inside an atom? Empty space? What is empty space? What is an atom made of?

Nothing is impossible because what would there be if there was nothing?

Perhaps we exist in our non-existent states so we can fill the void of nothing and thus, making something whichs makes nothing a possibility.

Maybe matter and the universe have always existed because time is an illusion.

How is it possible that the universe is infinite? If it isn't, what lies beyond it's boundaries? maybe there is no border and if you go one direction, you will eventually end up in the same spot as you started.

A 40x40x10 cubic ft building located on a flat desert plain.
Each side is facing a direction: North South East West.
A door aligned to the middle of the south side.
Inside there is a wall beginning at the middle of the west wall of the building that extends three-fourths of the way to the east wall and reaches the ceiling.
There are three windows on this wall that are perfectly spaced from each other and centered on the wall.
On the other side of the wall there is a chair aligned against the East wall perfectly spaced between the north wall and the middle wall.
7 1/2 feet starting where the chair meets the wall, there is a 5x5 sq ft rectangular column that rises to the ceiling.
17 1/2 feet starting where the chair meets the wall, there is another identical one
27 1/2 feet starting where the chair meets the wall, there is another identical one

      Do I paint a picture?

Do these above sentences create an idea of how I think?

I'm either thinking in a 3rd person view of a situation - I still think of me and me though - or I'm staring off into nowhere and listening to music in my head. I like to try to feel the beat in different places than it was logically meant to be felt.
IE) If a song is in 4/4 then the beat lands every quarter note. Instead, I think of the beat as landing every dotted eight note (3 sixteenth notes, or 3/4's of an actual beat (the quarter note)). This beat is felt faster and lines back up with the quarter note every 3 quarters - so 4 dotted eigths to 3 quarters. This than only lines up with the measure after 3 measures. I like to think of music in many different ways as it helps open up new ideas. Every now and then I'll try to feel a song in 3-4 different ways at once. This is how I think about music.

I don't think all I hear is music and thoughts come to me. Plus if I think I start to hear voices and I talk the idea over with them like I can hear a voice now saying this sucks and another voice saying no it dosen't. Everything seems to come to me like drifitng clouds going nearer. Also I didn't think of that stupid example somebody whispered it to me. So I don't think.

The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.
      7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.
does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.

It depends. If I talk or type I will think in letters, but when I'm sitting by myself thinking, it is almost always in pictures.

I do think with pictures, or in third person....like Artelis said

Why is it hard to not think about something?...Like: "don't think of a pink flying elephant!", it's mind torture trying not to think about it....

This is interesting. I'm not getting many answers about numbers though.

I do know what you mean, but I don't have one. Or if I do it is a mess. I can imagine one right now, but that is because I'm thinking about it. (Damn this is confusing! ) When I think of what month it is normally I just seem to know, but January is grey and Augest is light green. None of the other months make me see colors. Days of the week are the same, only I do remember the order. I have trouble keeping the order of the months straight.

Numbers..... I have never even paid attention to the way I calculate numbers in an equation. It must be complex though because I can multiply numbers up to 4 digits large by numbers two digits large (sometimes larger) without the aid of calculaters or paper. Though I am sometimes a hundred or two off.

Anytime I think of a day, month or year, my internal calander is instantly and involuntarily summoned. It is large, going all the way back to the birth of Jesus and extending a thousand years a head. It is all organized in a specific order which I really do not know how to describe.
