      my crappy economic alternative

My Alternative Economic System. (Plus Some Legal Ideas)

So, my idea was that instead of currency, you must fulfill a certain amount of work in a certain timeframe. The more difficult the job, the less work needed. There would be some exceptions, like if a certain job was lacking people, it would require less work, and vice versa. Also the military would require a smaller amount of work than it should, simply so the country has defense.
Anyone who did not fulfill the required amount of work would be separated from others for an amount of time depending on how many times they had not done enough work. My idea was to devote an area to people who do not work hard enough. They would have to provide food from each other, if not for themselves. There would be a similar system for criminals. There would be a system of areas devoted to criminals depending on if the crime was physical or non-physical, and how intense it was.
People who made basic foods (Like farmers and butchers) would give their food to the government for equal distribution with little or no taxes.
As long as you did the required amount of work, you have access to many goods and services. The government would make sure you didn’t advantage of this privilage by monitoring the amount of goods and services you take and use. There would be a public list of what allowed.

Current unsolved problems that I will solve in the future:
      *Retirement

I am sure there will be many many problems and i only posted this so people could tell me the problems so i can fix them. I cant really say i would be happier if this was in place, so dont tell me that i am a retard because i support this 100%, because i dont.

This is beautiful, save a few things.

      1) It requires an all-powerful all-seeing government to monitor things and make it work.

      2) Human nature is such that when you put people in all-powerful and all-seeing positions, they become corrupt.

      3) There is no incentive for the exercise of brilliance or genius - for going above and beyond. Why bother curing cancer if you can just get through your nine-to-five and go enjoy an evening in the park?

      4) There is no incentive for taking risks, which translates to nobody being rewarded for trying new things that might or might not work.

Those are just off the top of my head.

In short, it would have exactly the same results as pure Communism, which you have mostly re-invented here. Look to the "paradise" of North Korea to see the ultimate results of that one.

As I said on chat, the proposed system is far too impersonal. There is nothing to encourage creativity and improvement. In real life, people must be free to choose how far they go in their careers. When you try to impose strict guidelines on how people manage their time then they become slaves to the system. Motivation is the driving force of all that is good. This system provides for zero motivation. Simply meeting expectation is not good enough. If we all only met expectation then we wouldn't be here right now, at this website.

What must be in place is a system whereby people are rewarded for going above and beyond. There has to be the lure bettering of one's self and there must be the conditions in place for that to come to fruition.

There's simply far too many holes in your system. It needs to be re-worked from the ground up. It's based on a faulty premise.

I would move the hell away from a country doing that regime.

We already have something that monitors the ratio of work vs. the goods and services you receive.

      It's called money.

the main problem with this system is: work. "Work" is a problem.
