I've realized that apathy has come into many parts of my life which orginally I did not think was a problem. I feel like its led me to take more leaps in my life like start a business and start painting: becuase in a way Apathy is behind courage as well. It stems from despair, but then when a person becomes determined to take action they are now more fearless.

Still, I've now realized that the best type of courage is when you are willing to take risks because of how much you CARE about something.

I think to some extent experiencing a large degree of apathy has allowed me to cut out many of the things in my life that were not important.

Nonetheless, I get the feeling that Apathy is at the root of all experience and is something I will have to struggle against my whole life, because it is a weakness of spirit?
