Is this symbol the COMPLETE ancient flower of life? I would appreciate any opinions. http://thecompletefloweroflife.blogspot.com/
I'm not sure what you mean by complete, but there seems to bee more lines than needed. I think the simpler version is the complete one, since it contains all possibilities without actually having to draw them out.
Bear in mind this is one tough subject and I don't really know what I'm talking about.
I'm pretty sure it needs two circles surrounding it as well, but I'm unclear as to why, or at least at a loss to put it into words. But I think the two rings was meant to imply another layer of circles, which your picture has, and this one doesn't, so they may equal out to the same thing.

I believe, the COMPLETE ancient flower of life is an interdimensional tool,a portal,a link back to awareness of the universal consciousness. The universal consciousness we were all part of before we entered this material world. The original flower(found in "the osireon" at abydos in egypt(pics)is incomplete because it is only the first layer of three(as you suggested). The complete flower has the other two layers added, making it three dimensional. If you relax(sit three feet away from the screen)and let the flower slowly draw your eyes out of focus, the flower will open. Try and not focus on any one point, blankly stare, take the flower in as a whole. Do not strain your eyes,it will happen naturally. We do not see with our eyes,we see THROUGH our eyes. Let your mind focus, dont fight it. You may get a headache and itchy eyes, this will quickly disappear. This is not a known science, but if you let it happen, you will be supprised by what appears:o 4love and light 2all:)x The complete ancient flower of life is not a stereogram,a magic eye image or any other man made optical illusion.
The complete ancient flower of life contains the tree, the fruit, the egg and the seed of life(pic1). The complete flower also contains the three dimensional metatron cube which holds all the platonic solids(pic2). Not just the building blocks of life, but the building blocks of creation its self.
The incomplete fol is found all over the ancient world. The oldest and original incomplete fol is found on several pillars within "the osireion" at abydos in egypt. The osireion(the tomb of osiris)is known to be the oldest building in egypt. To this day,no egyptologists or archaeologists can or wont give a date for the flower. Neither will they explain why,who or what the flower was put there for. Any opinions? I believe the flower has been delibarately ignored so world secret societies can keep the flowers secrets hidden.:( http://www.users.bigpond.com/MSN/gar.../osireion.html http://www.grahamhancock.com/library/fotg/c45-5.htm
Are you sure it's not just a bunch of circles? It's geometrically elegant, but I don't really see anything particularly awe-inspiring in it. I tried letting it 'open' as you said, but it works very well as a stereogram and I kept ending up just looking through the screen at another flower.
This collective consciousness, the non-material world you speak of, is it the same as the one in Plato's philosophy?
I dunno if this is related but here it goes. If you've heard of the band, Tool, you've heard the song lateralus. The song has to do with symetry and balance that can be found in the geometric shape of the spiral. The whole song has obvious and subliminal pointings to the spiral. The rhythm of the song goes along perfectly with the fibonacci sequence, which when graphed is a spiral. The album, also titled Lateralus, is supposed to tell a story that can only be understood when the songs are played in the order of the fibonacci sequence. Is this what you mean by sacred geometry? The story is supposed to be a way to understand nature and find balance and a higher way of thinking. I dunno I just thought that was really cool, dont know if it applies to this tho.

The incomplete flower of life is also found in israel, spain, austria, france, italy and many other countries all over the world.
This may be of interest. I believe, the symbol on this knights templar tombstone(pic1),found in the st magnus cathedral,kirkwall,orkney,scotland(pic2),is a representation of the egg of life(sacred geometry,pic3),which is found within the first layer of the complete flower of life. :) x Any opinions?
Sacred geometry predates any known religion by thousands of years. I believe, all religions were created by world secret societies,to hide how sacred geometry links the whole of humanity together. Does anyone know which religious figure used this symbol,as an emblem for him and his followers? ;) x
Do you intend to answer me anytime soon?
Unlike other mandala, the complete ancient flower of life has no design, measurement or straight lines. The complete flower grows organically from the first circle onwards,it draws itself. This is one of the resaons why the flower is called the creation mandala. I forgot to add...... the flower should be contemplated in darkness, only have the computer on,no lights. :)

I can't even meditate on that for more than two seconds without getting tripped out of my head. That's some freaky stuff.
Rather, ancient societies all had their own state religions which worshipped symbols such as Gods ruling over various aspects and myths and whatever. Contained in each of these state religions was a Mystery, or secret society which understood the truth behind their religion's symbols.
One by one, however, they were all either corrupted or conquered and truth was either ignorantly or intentionally forgotten, so these days people think the Egyptians (for instance) actually believe their myths, which were in fact only symbols of greater truth.
These societies managed to tap into realms beyond our own, The Sumerians were the first, the Egyptians were third (I forget who was second).
so what exactly does it mean for this geometry to be sacred? I have never seen this subject before.
this guy really think there is something amazing and special about this. I've seen him post about it on another forum, its all copy and pasted the same on every forum, and on the other forum one guy called him out about how he has been posting this on every forum he can find.
it's pretty cool I guess, but this guy has an obsession with it. just search his user name on google and you'll find a lot of posts he has made on many forums. they are all similar
As far as I can see, they're just circles. There's really nothing all that geometrically remarkable going on there.
so the people who say it is sacred have no reason to say so? They just said "oh, this looks cool, it must have some magic in it!"
How dare you take Chuck Norris's name in vain!!! He shall smite thee with his powerful roundhouse kick and chest hairs of iron wool!!
In all seriousness, I guess it has, but those at least have a history, albeit religious, that people can go on, I have not heard of such a thing for this sacred geometry. And, what does it do? Most of those things we say heals, or brings good luck, or something else. What is this suppose to do?
could you then explain the implications of these circles? I am actually interested in this and dont listen with one ear shut like most skeptics do. However, I dont just except things without at least a good idea of what these circles are suppose to do rather than they are "just sacred"
There is so much information packed into those circles I couldn't even begin to explain it. All the platonic solids are in there, every religious symbol, you name it. Things like the Ying-Yang symbol weren't invented, they were discovered.
For a better idea of what can be done with those circles, check out

For a better understanding of what they represent, read David Wilcock's Convergence.

You may want to start with part 2, the Harmonic Structure of Dimensions, but the whole thing is a good read.
If higher dimensions are too much to wrap your head around, you could check out the book Flatland to soften up you melon. It's about a bunch of 2d beings unaware of the third spatial dimension. It's been made into several movies, of which I've only been able to find clips on you tube.
Book: http://www.gutenberg.org/dirs/etext94/flat11.txt
A short clip that illustrates the point : http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=BWyTxCsIXE4
My interest in this stems from some reoccurring dreams I had as a child which involved the platonic solids. Seriously, there is no good reason that my 4 year old self would dream of the platonic solids. I could barely tie my shoes at the time! And I'm not the only one.
That particular topic had turned into the single biggest non-general thread in the Nightmare and reoccurring dreams section of this forum.

I feel like a simple grid would harbor just as much 'information', wouldn't it?
I also can't see any ying-yangs in there - could you point them out for me?
You dreaming of platonic solids is odd, but remember that platonic solids do not exist in nature. They are merely a generalization that we humans have created to describe various things with roughly similar shapes. In that sense, things like the ying-yang were very much invented.
Where do you come up with this stuff? Crystals are composed entirely of of the platonic solids. Over and over, the same tiny building blocks repeating until they form a large one.
And then consider the Atomic Structure of matter. See the pictures on this site. http://193.49.43.3/dif/3D-crystals/index.html
Nothing but platonic solids and sacred geometry, all of which is contained in those "cirlcles". The very shapes themselves explain the properties matter has.
As for finding the ying yang, take a closer look at this picture from that charlesgilchrest site. The lines aren't very clear. You can see it better if you print it out.

The whole sacred aspect was not put forth by the people who studied and developed these concepts, but by the people who didn't understand it.

If you get time, watch this video. I believe Nassim is speaking about the complete flower of life, without realising it. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...arch&plindex=1
I think he realizes it. He mentioned he studied those those things in he presentation. The guy had some good jokes too.
Holy crap, AndyMonk. How many of these threads did you start?
You're really crimping my research. I can't do a search on platonic solids or sacred geometry without seeing this exact same thread in forum after forum. I swear I've come across it at least a dozen times.
Found a good into to sacred geometry that tries to blend it in with science.

I can't help but look at something like this and be amazed by it. But it's a simple, logical design, and that is impressive, but that's about it. Granted I couldn't make my way through all the text. I just don't see it as an explanation to anything.
When I have time (Christmas break) I will honestly give this all a read, because I am interested. I just don't get how this can help us garner any information about anything, other than some constants that we are aware of, and have been aware of for centuries (each from a dozen different sources).
Everything is related, higher dimensions are the key to unifying the four fundamental forces, it just seems that trying to explain anything from this is just as ass-backwards (maybe a leg up) as working from 1=1, and expanding outwards.
Consider reduction Reductionist Physics. THey are constantly smashing apart particles looking for the smallest possible building block. The problem is, that they keep finding smaller and smaller particles, with no end in sight.
Applying sacred geometry in this context would mean looking for an overall pattern that you could use to explain how they keep breaking down into smaller particles, instead of having to study each one.
For whatever reason google have pulled nassim`s new video.:( You can find an older version here. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...arch&plindex=0
I believe i have discovered the earths grid, which is based on the complete flower of life. If you look at the attached image, you will see a map of the island of sanday, which is a part of the orkney islands. I believe this island is one of the starting points of the worlds grid. As you can see at the NE of the island, there just happens to be a light house positioned on a place called start point. I dont have the equipment to post the grid, but if you would like to draw it? First you will require an ordnance survey map(scale 1;25000). Second...... draw a circle with a radius of 2.575miles(5000megalithic yards). Thirdly.....position this circle so the arc runs from start point along scuthvie bay to tofts ness. 4....where the arc cuts through start point, place the point of the compass and draw another circle, creating a vesica piscis. 5.... continue to draw the flower of life. The flower will spiral out, running through all ancient sites, standing stones, cathedrals, churches etc. You will see as you go along, all ancient sites lie at the centre of six points. I look forward to your feedback. :) http://homepages.compuserve.de/WFKSc.../miniSANDY.jpg
Never hear of the flower of life earth grid, but there is one for each of the platonic solids. And speaking of earth grids, check out this stationary hexagonal cloud formation to see one in action.

any thoughts on Fractals? Every peice containing the whole, goes on for infinity, etc...
I believe the G of freemasonry symbolises the complete flower of life. :) http://www.stonepages.com/forum/inde...pe=post&id=363
If you cant see the image, look here..........its been added to this article. http://www.world-mysteries.com/sar_sage1.htm Remember this.........at its highest level the G(like all letters and numbers)is a symbol. :)
The complete flower of life is THEE template. If you overlay the complete flower with a sheet of tracing paper, you will be able to trace out any known written alphabet.
All letters of the ancient rune alphabet can easily be picked out from the complete flower of life. :)
The complete flower of life links the whole of humanity consciously together. I believe, when enough people see the complete flower of life and the tipping point is reached, something similar to the hundreth monkey syndrome will activate. At the higher levels of feemasonry they know this and have been keeping the complete flower hidden from the rest of humanity. The complete flower of life is what the square and compass of freemasonry really sybolize.
Stop talking to yourself Andy. This isn't even a discussion, you're just spamming.
Is it a coincidence that the geometry of snowflakes match the template? ;) http://www.maybelogic.org/maybequart...owerOfLife.htm
I showed my father this image today(pic1). When he saw it,he nearly fell off his chair. He told me that the pattern in the centre circle,is found in the middle of all masonic temple ceilings(Well.......all the masonic temples he has visited in his 40 years as a freemason). Maybe we`re being told something. The second circle could be a representation of "The osireion",leading to the flower of life. Does anybody have an opinion on crop circles? http://www.gnosticliberationfront.co...d_geometry.htm
