No matter what is said, Saddam Hussein was a terrible man. Now, members of this site aswell as people all around the world, criticize the United States of America for not removing the really bad people from power, like the warloards of Africa and the dictators of Central and South America. My main question is, why is this the job of the United States? |

So the leaders of these other UN countries are just money hungry pigs aswell, who gain their money from inaction, instead of action? Wow. At least the US has the balls to just take what we want instead of idly standing by. |

no no, this thread isn't about the USA. I want to know why the US is portrayed as responsible for the world, and why the UN doesnt send aid to the places they criticize the US for not helping. |

Use your own arguments against yourself for a change. Do some self-reflection. Why should the UN go the the countries that have no uneconomical interest for you, thus you don't care about them (dictators in Africa)? And why should the UN help clearing up the mess YOU made? |

Enough shit talk about America. We are the great evil. We are the cause of every single problem in the world....bla bla bla. Enough with it. |

The UN has GREAT potential. And the idea behind it is a great one, that certainly will have to be, and will be realised for a more peaceful world. However, it has not lived up to it's potential. The world isn't far enough yet. I think that in 50 years, the UN or an organisation quite like it, will work more like the UN is supposed to now. And maybe after even more time the UN will do exactly what the idea behind it is. |
