I'm glad science is slowly telling the governments to back off natural drugs, many of them have important medical use such as mushrooms or mdma, or even lsd. The test 'subjects' felt positive effects for up to 14 months after ingesting the mushrooms.

I can testify of the positive long term effects of Psychedelics such as Mushrooms and LSD myself. I and MANY many others. I found them to be psychologicaly VERY therapeutical as Psychedelics (Mainly Mushrooms, LSD and DMT in my personal experience) reveal you to yourself; You can see into places of your Psyche, both ugly and beautyfull places, that your Ego's Pride, Conservatism and Fearfull Ignorance Normally, in our usual waking state consciousness, would restrict us from seeing. This gives rise to changing the bad traits and psychological problems that have been brought to one's attention in Psychedelic experiences. Also, because next to these ugly places also the beautyfull hidden places in one's Psyche are revealed, the Psychedelic experience HUGELY promotes Artistic Creativity by giving unearthly strong and magical inspiration. Also Re-discovering and re-connecting with these beautyfull, previously hidden places gives an enormous feeling of mental/emotional wellbeing that indeed can last for many months onwards if not forever. I can speak nothing but intensly good of the (RESPONSIBLE and SOUVEREIGN!) use of Psychedelics. Our western governments may tell a 1000 lies of what's so bad about LSD, Mushrooms or Marijuana: I had first hand experience with these Spiritualy marvelous substances and have found them to have an intensely positive effect on my general view of life, additude in life and mostly my emotional wellbeing. It's just like Psychedelics feed a very joyfull being in me. A part of me which is joyfull, blessed, creative, clearminded and all things positive; My inner Child as some would say. That's why these Psychedelics are precious to me, no matter what mentally diseased, negative views of these Substances oh so many people might have and wish to have me believe. Governments cannot continue their prohibitionism of Spiritual development and neither can they continue misguiding the people with lies about them. More and more people turn their interrest to them, as our Authorities loose more and more Credibility and Souvereignity everyday. It seems to me that a worldwide human interrest in Psychedelics, Free Spiritualism, Pre-christian traditions, Divination and Dreammagic(Lucid Dreaming) is growing hugely lately and not the harshest worldwide prohibitionist DEA-withchunt could stop the people from reaching spiritual heights by the grace of Psychedelics.

psychedelics to me, are spiritual drugs. however, there are strings attached. psychedelics can artificially open your mind to things you haven't seen before. you however, lack the real spiritual awareness to understand all that is happening. in the past spiritual people using these drugs could become disillusioned into believing false prophesies and false visions. because they lacked the spiritual awareness to understand the reality and unreality of their psychedelic experience. psychedelics are not a substitute for real spiritual growth. and they can dampen your spiritual growth if you become dependent on them. they are the steroids of the mind. psychedelics have however helped introduce people to a strange new world they were currently unable to experience on their own. I think this should be their only purpose spiritually speaking, an introduction into the strange. after that, you should really learn these strange worlds exist within your being and you need nothing but your own mind to reach them.

That's amazing. Now government legalize cannabis, please. The people prohibiting Psychedelic drugs are the economic elite corrupting politicians with conveniently huge cashflows. The big mega-businesses such as Pharmacuitical companies and Oil Companies see many Psychedelic drugs as a threat to their monopoly position in the marketplace; Most traditional psychedelics have great Psycho-therapeutical and physically cleansing healing-properties while having non of the adverse health effects most traditional pharmacuitical medicines used today and thus they have alot of medicinal potential. This would put their foul Opiate-based "medications" out of business. Marijuana is prohibited by the same people for the same reason but also the Oil industry sees Marijuana as a competative threat to their business: Marijuana plants yield oil inferior to crude, scarce earthoil in being VERY easy to produce and ecologically harmless to produce, yielding a very effective fuel of an infinite amount. And since Marijuana, Mushrooms, DMT and LSD are fairly easy to rediculously easy to grow/make/find by anyone it is impossible for these corporates to monopolise this business, they see no profit in engaging in these substances themselves. Anyone could grow/make/find it so why would they buy it from them right? Basically the laws to prohibit these drugs (marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline cacti, LSD and DMT) were made by corporates to effectively irradicate any competition to their monopoly businesses. NO these laws have NOTHING to do with human wellbeing. Purely greed. And Politicians that make our LAWS will make whatever rediculously unrightious, inhumane laws that these money smighting corporates demand from them. So bottomline even the laws are based on profit interrests rather than humanitairian interrests. So for Cannabis to become legal we need to make an economical warfare uppon those that prohibit it. A war that, to these politically influential businesses (mainly the Oil and Pharmacuitical business) makes it more profitable to legalise these psychedelics and economically devastating to continue their current, dishonoust businesses. Only then I see the right climate for Cannabis and the other psychedelics to become legal.

I agree with this, but the government is silly. They could make some tax on weed like tobaco, we could all be happy. The fatcat government can have their gross tax money and I can have my drugs and be happy and free. I also see it as their way of having more power over us, I'm going to guess that have of all the government smokes pot. Why do you think Goerge Bush is so stupid?

Bush isn't stupid, he acts dumb to fool the people to thinking he is incapable of running the nation, he is well aware of what he does, and he is a very intelligent person. He does this to draw sympathy from dumb old conservatives, and he's doing a damn good job getting sympathy from idiots, which in turn, they vote for mccain.
