I have to have a short term goal for each meditation session to keep me doing it because otherwise I'd just get impatient. It's hard to keep track of progress so I think its better to find a reason to be meditating rather than to "have meditated" if you know what I mean.

So in short I do it to feel good. If I skip a day I start getting irritable, it's almost like it started out as an activity and has become a necessity. In the long run though I hope to explore the inner universe within myself. If you want me to elaborate on what that means... you'd have to wait for me to actually start doing it. My life experiences have led me to believe meditation is one of the most important aspects of human life, though.
