We`re hardly talking about going back in caves here, just phasing out obselete technology. Are you really going to purposefully pollute the environment just to spite the evil UN?

Well, what am I supposed to do then? I agree with that^^^ and believe in global warming too.

I guess we're screwed either way, because the right thing to do will alway be be superseded by multinats quest for more money and power.

Well I just think that "giving up what remains of the freedom and wealth of the Western world to empower an utterly corrupt United Nations" is a little harsh when all that needs to be done on your end is a conscious effort to become more energy efficient. I don't understand what you're so affraid of...

To clarify things, my interpretation of your points so far is that you believe the UN to be behind some scheme to exagerate climate change (while supplying false or questionable data) for some purpose that remains unclear to me and that all this somehow poses a threat to your western values and ideals. You have also mentioned that you believe today's issues on climate change to be but a repeat of older "doomsday scenarios" and that its potential dangers are grossly overestimated. So feel free to correct or clarify any of that.
