Jacco van der Worp
Foreword by Marshall Masters
America is now spending huge sums to deploy the massive The South Pole Telescope (SPT) in Antarctica. The final installation will be the size of a mini-mall and will require a massive C-130 airlift effort to transport pre-assembled modules and a large staff to the most desolate, inhospitable and inaccessible region of the world. Why? Because Planet X / Nibiru was first sighted in 1983 and this discovery spurred the USA to build the SPT — humanity's new Planet X tracker.
Amongst independent researchers like us at YOWUSA.COM and the equally committed researchers with whom we share data, the 1983 IRAS observation of Planet X / Nibiru has always been a hot topic. On a private level, we often discuss how the NASA's IRAS spacecraft first captured infrared images of it back in 1983 with the same lament. Given the lack of corroboration, how can you publish a story that can easily be shot down as a rumor? That was then.
Now we have the corroboration we've lacked for years, The South Pole Telescope (SPT). Far more powerful capable and survivable than the 1983 IRAS spacecraft and Hubble Space Telescope put together, this manned observatory will soon begin tracking Planet X / Nibiru from the pristine skies of Antarctica.
Why is America spending a massive fortune to transport this massive facility with massive C-130 airlift to the most desolate, inhospitable and inaccessible region of the world to track this massive inbound? Because this is where astronomers will find their ultimate Kodak moment and this is good news. Their resulting multi-spectrum observations will translate into life-saving data.
Let people discuss the potential danger coming from it.
I love this thread lol.
Well the whole website seemed to want me to buy this steaming pile of shit:Quote:

How about you find a website with the same information, but which isn't trying to sell me a book about how I can survive the cataclismic event which only seems to be mentioned on said website.
Well perhaps you could donate the $10,000 to humanitarian causes?Quote:

Even if Planet X is going to collide with Earth, do we have that much to worry about? I've seen this happen countless times, big hot shot new guy on the block tries to take over only to get his ass kicked by the real deal.
I mean just look at our history, we've invented Kung-Fu, Judo, Taekwon-Do, Samurai swords, the 9mm pistol. Our planet has been populated by mongol hordes, medieval knights; we've seen the rise of nations like the Roman Empire and the Soviet Union. Can any planet really even attempt to claim that they are as badass as we are?
No, of course not, Earth is the shit. Fear us Planet X, and GTFO of our orbit.
I reckon if Planet X does come and try and push us about, we send Spart up there with a katana and a 9mm.
Nothing could stop a pilot that knows kung-fu, judo AND taekwon-do.
well this is just silly for a number of reasons.
1. the definition of a planet:
A planet is a body that orbits the sun(or a star) that is large enough for its own gravity to make it roughly round, and has cleared its orbit of smaller objects.
If Planet x passes and has done before as stated between Mars and Jupiter there would be no asteroid belt. Given it is suposedly the size of jupiter it would swollow the asteroid belt.
2. A planet of this size would drastically alter the orbit of the planets of the solar system and infact would most liley either throw planet off their orbit into space or cause planetary collisions
3. surely 2 stars orbiting so close would eventually spiral into each other?
4. I note that the so called pictures of planet X and all the so called facts about it have no credible sources.
this theory is just silly
EDIT: I may be wrong here but I thought the orbital paths of neptune and uranus were thought to be wrong because of errors in the original calculations. Didnt this not get fixed in the 1980s or something?
Most of the stars in the universe are binary systems, apparently... but there you go.Quote:

L, you're going to have to defend yourself knowledge/sources/theories better, because so far the planet x thread is getting ripped to shreds. It's true that the ancient sumerians (who happened to be an advanced civilization who it's estimated to have lived 6,000 years ago) were very knowledgeable about our galaxy, our planets etc... (and they also knew our planets were spherical, and they also knew they revolved around the sun, this is evident in their depictions.) In their depictions of our solar system they drew 10 planets. See picture below...

Do I believe Planet X will come in 2012 and crash into Earth? I have not seen any evidence to suggest this. Do I believe there is a Planet X/Nibiru? Sure, why not.
Let me make you something clear, when someone provides evidence, learn to read/watch it. Before making your own assumptions. If you dont have time for that, please dont post useless spamm. By saying that, you had time replying to the spamm posts, which were pretty much 1-2 hrs. You could have spend that time and study what i brought you (20 min material) . Instead of arguing on the topic without having proper knowledge of it.
If you like doing that in other thread's than you need a real life therapy.
I gave you proper links which you requested. You havent even looked at them, thus wasting my time, and others. IF thats your purpose of replying without having the proper knowledge of it, than your in the wrong place.
I'm not surprised that you have "Teens" behind your back, spamming as well as you do. Please leave my thread alone. And post some useful stuff, none related to betting and money.
For the others, please dont waste your time arguing with me on this topic. Just call your Nasa Headquarters and they will give you the proper answer.
It is not my problem if you cannot read the links i posted. Instead of spamming and counting up your forum counts.
The hilarious part of it , is none of the posters besides few of them such as jeff, took a look at the material.
Wait... you think a planet bigger than Earth is going to collide with us, and you want us to store extra food in preparation for this?
:clap: Good plan. I would also recommend a massive group huge project before the moment of impact.
Didn't you say [at the start of the thread] the planet was of 4-8 earth masses?
I thought it was the size of jupiter (ie. >100 earth masses).
And someone (maybe the video?) stated that after the flyby "Nibiru" will fly off into another part of the galaxy. And you think this has happened before? Remember a planet hardly "orbits" a star if it spends most of its time somewhere else.
It seems that for every claim that has even a vaguely credible source (which is more often than not misinterpreted), conspiracy theorists make ten assumptions based on no proof at all.
The video stated that "Nibiru was orbiting a dark star with six planets". Where on earth did that come from? First off, black drawves are hypothetical anyway, because they are impossible to detect and most likely the universe is not old enough to contain one. But, even if they were, what's with all the mad claims?
That article is about Eris, a confirmed dwarf planet far smaller than Earth and in no way on collision course with it. Using it as proof of any existing "Planet X" is inappropriate and just silly.

Looking at things objectively is a truly enlightening process. Examine evidence, think about people's motives, think about the credibility of sources (especially your favourite one www.yowusa.com). You will find far more interesting things that have real, objective evidence than a boring old armageddon fantasy (for it is not a theory).
What you have been is suggestable. You've done a thorough search of YouTube, and of silly websites; and you've taking it in as truth, without investigating the cited sources yourself. 2012 is not a bad hoax - all you'll do is wake up on January 1st 2013 a bit confused but happy to be alive. But you need to learn to be more independently minded lest you fall into something more sinister - a cult, a scam, fraud, etc.
What's with this latest trend of people creating text that slowly types across the screen and calling it a "video?" I can't waste my time by reading something that reveals itself at about 1/10 my reading speed, and which could easily have been a page of text with a photo or two. Talk about wasting bandwidth!
Now that I've gotten that out of my system, my other gripe:
Will people please stop wasting their own time and ours by peppering threads with the meaningless, and typically capitalized "IT'S A FACT!!" Whenever I see these words, my first assumption is always that there is no credible evidence whatsoever, else it would speak for itself. (And newsflash... it does not in this case).
Considering there are many, many countries across the world with scientific methods of looking out into space, a mere US conspiracy would be pitifully insufficient to cover up the story of the millenia.
If I wake up januari 1 2013, and nothing has changed; I'm gonna blow something up. I mean seriously, I want change, good OR bad.
I think this "theory" is crap.
Right...
I don't know whether this is real or not, but I do know something like this would make a hugely cool movie :D
Right... that, and I'd like to know what the piece of music in that 'nibiru'-video was. Pure brilliance ^^
It's a propaganda video trying to sell a 'HOW TO SURVIVE PLANET X!!!' book. That's NOT EVIDENCE, you goon. -_-Quote:

Now, provide a link to a credible source of information with actually backs any of those claims up, or just shut up. You recently said you did but I couldn't find it.
I just spent 5 minutes reading about Planet X; it was probably a complete waste of time, but basically it turns out to be an old mathematical hypothesis to explain discrepancies in the orbits of some of the outer planets. It turns out that some of the mass values of these planets were wrong, and now there are no discrepancies in planetary orbits, making the evidence for planet X's existence pretty much zero.
Oooh... thanks for the epiphany, actually.Quote:
....gosh why am i still replying to this nonsense.
No, not really. When people post such things I think it is a combination of being bored, having the thirst for a savior to drop out of the sky and change their dreary lives somehow. Not only that, but an attempt to create a sense of community out of supposed 'revelation' that has been rehashed and rehashed by various doomsayers and doomscholars for god knows how long.
We have a lot more to worry about than Edgar Cayce's and Michael Tsarion's predictions about the rapture and the upheavals of 2012. If it happens so be it, but the real prophesies are those that lie in our own creation. Chemical, biological, and nuclear. I think that such people that throw the red klaxon around with such ease are actually hoping and praying for an initiation of such an event because modern culture has disenfranchised and consumed their individuality to the point where they long for its self-destruction.
Believe me, I would know. I am a puppet that can see his own strings.
I feel like a puppet too. But I'm gonna try to cut those strings...and run away.
We are in fact the malevolent puppeteers of our own lives whether we believe it or not. I have been tending to think lately that I am my own worst enemy in that regard. Self-stereotyping, locking ourselves into predetermined patterns of behavior, and conforming to the status quo as often as possible are representations of this evil I bear witness to.
One wonders whether it is genetics or crowd psychology that plays a larger role in this; I would like to think it's the latter.
OK, I'm going on a tangent, I have to get my feet back on track: From a cosmic perspective, the whole shebang seems highly unlikely. I have two scenarios in my head, one that happens so fast that we wont even be anywhere remotely conscious of it until it does happen, and two that we are so young as a species, that only likely a dramatic event like this will only happen well after we are gone.
However, who knows about humankind, this itself is a huge experiment on a planetary scale.
I tend to think that around this point of time is where limiting factors will be imposed on us by the planet. If we let our intellect to override our animalistic nature then it is a possibility we can save the status quo. This is a pipe dream; the status quo necessarily lends to the planet's destruction.
We need to override our instincts, but what we are doing to our planet (and ourselves) is unacceptable. We need to change the way we look at ourselves and our place in the world, and that is (probably) something that doesn't happen overnight. If the 'spiritual (r)evolution' of 2012 turns out to be BS, then I'll be able to tell what started it in the first place. It is our will to change. while some, or most, individuals want to 'stick to the program' and just live 'ordinary lives' like everybody else; some people like me desire change. I think that some people got so desperate (changing an entire race takes ages) that they came up with a date (in this case a date from an ancient civilisation) and said that the 'great change' will happen then.
I prefer to believe this spiritual evolution though, because in this world; anything may happen. And like what Troubadour said, we are a relatively young species. What makes us thing we know everything?
At the moment I am preparing myself for 3 possible scenarios:
Near future: Our (and especially my) destruction (global warming, war, ..)
2012: Something beneficial happens for mankind
2012: Nothing happens.
