The United States Of America is not a democracy! It is a Republic governed by the People for the People! It is high time we show these greedy, power-hungry, politicians who really runs this country! I am sick and tired of these idiots and liars who say they have the people in mind and say they are doing the best they can to make the people happy while going off and spending millions of dollars of the tax payers money on bullshit! It infuriates me the way our government uses us to fund and back all their little get rich and powerful schemes.They think that if you are not educated in an official school and haven't gone to college that you have no value to society.They are so utterly and completely wrong.we have plenty of intelligent people who work in shit jobs because the government has brainwashed us to think that the only people with any worth are college graduates.but you know what? sadly, in a couple years they will be right! because they are degrading our school systems and filling children's heads with nonsensical crap that has no value in the real world.you know what is even more pitiful? they are dumbing down the schools so much that even the people who went and received a proper education will be idiots.for example: it is now taught that George Washington was a black man.for god's sake George Washington was white!it wouldn't even matter if he was black because racism isn't the issue here. this is just an example of the lies and stupidity that our country sees fit to put in the minds of our children.that is how you get you too,by destroying the central foundation of intelligence.the most easily led and ruled people is an ignorant people because they have no sense to see that they are being abused.even now as i write this i will most likely get an overwhelming amount of disagreements compared to agreements. you know why?because your precious government who we all protect and serve and defend loyally has brainwashed you to think all is well and everything people like me say is false and unrealistic.well i am sorry to say they and you who think that are wrong and if you have any sense at all you will heed my words. Not any more its not. In fact, maybe America deserves what its getting when people aren't willing to stand up and do something about it.

How many Americans even really know why they have the right to bear arms? It was never for reasons of home protection or physical self-defense as the gun-toting cowboys and girls of America preach today.

America's founding fathers instilled the right to bear arms so that the people could protect not only themselves, but their country, from their government. The whole purpose was so that should the government ever become a corrupt institution and/or no longer governed by the people, then the people would take up arms, overthrow the government and replace it with a working order. It is not an American's right, it is an American's DUTY to over throw the government should it become such a corrupt system.

But how many Americans are ready to do that? It seems that not enough people are willing to put a stop to the direction the country is taking. Too many will blindly stand beside their 'leaders' and preach that they are protecting their country, while doing the exact opposite.

I don't think anyone still considers the USA the 'land of the free'. Every read '1984'? I think we are slowly heading towards that.

I think the current theory is that the Bush administration is a conspiracy to make Nixon and Reagan look rational. I think it's working.

Really? 1984? I think Farenheit 451 (with undertones of Brave New World) is a more accurate description of the U$A today.

In any case, thinking that ordinary people are capable of determining state policy, or even recognizing and picking competent rulers, is a silly idea in its own right. It worked when the U$ was a sparsely populated set of colonies on the eastern edge of the American continent, but not in the age of mass media and mass entertainment.

I can only hope that the U$A's degeneracy will end soon in social collapse and someone who actually knows how to properly govern a state (in a non-democratic manner) will rise to power. No dictator can be more irresponsible than the TV-addled mob.

But considering the majority enjoys being fucked in the ass, it's not gonna happen until it's to late. If the electoral process isn't broken exaplain how bush won twice, and was never impeached(maybe lying about blowjobs is a bigger offence then lying about wars).

At the very least you have to agree that we really need to get rid of this electoral college bullshit. It only serves the 2 party system, there is no logical reason for it.

Think about it. You wouldn't have to worry about paying taxes anymore, only about getting your arm gnawed off by a living corpse!

IMO as an outsider, USA gives too much power to a single man. Even in my country, where the president no matter how hard he tried would only have limited influence on the world, his power is still severly limited by the parliament, government, PM etc. Also, the two party system to me doesn't seem so democratic.
