Thread: 1000 List Challenge

Alright, here's the game:

Alongside this election I ask fans of both candidates to come and read this; we'll play a game. An ED game. Now, many of you probably know a lot of bad things about all the candidates, but how many positive things can you name? Let's find out, then.

Compile a list of 1000 unique, positive facts about one of the candidates (Palin, McCain, Obama or Biden) by next week. The winner will recive one of eight prizes of their choosing.

The rules:

- Each fact must have a cited source
- They must be presented as a list, not an article
- Facts have to be specific, and no people can have the same fact on their list*
- Only one person can work on a list
- You may only have one list!
- Lists can be posted out over several posts, but can also be posted up all at once

*If two people share the same fact, that fact will be removed from both people's counts

Most likely immpossible. You'll get a lot of things like "nice hair!" with a picture of them as a cited source.

Well, I'd like to see the fanatics try to find something POSITIVE about their main men/woman, etc...

Besides, 'nice hair' is hardly something positive and specific about a presidential candidate

Positive is very subjective.

For example, take religion. Some people may take strong faith as a positive thing and others are more "eh" and some are even like "KEEP THE CHURCH IN THE CHURCH!!!!111".

Some may think Obama's stance on foreign policy may be admirable, others abhorrent. Same goes with economy, etc.

Think about that before you try to compile such a list. Try to find things most Americans would agree that is good. For example, how much each candidate did for the needy.

Okay.

Here's the difference between positive and negative:

"Obama hangs out with terrorists!" - negative

"Obama wants to give the middle class tax cuts" - positive

"Obama is going to make changes!" - not specific

I'm going to make a prediction:

Also there aren't 1000 positive things about either candidate, unless you start making up ridiculous shit.

You morons are not only pessmistic, but inserting your biased views in this thread when they have no relevancy whatsoever. BOTH candidates have done phenomenal things and have honorable marks and accomplishments that dwarf anything anyone on this forum has done or probably will do. McCain is a war hero that has earned the respect of our country and Obama is an agent of change that has sparked political fire in the hearts of not only the youth across this country, but people of all ages. A change is necessary at this time...we can't have Bush/Bush-like economics plagueing our country for another 4 years. That's why both of these candidates have made it thus far...they represent the kind of swagger America needs at this time. All of you independent's will just have to come to grips with your choice for president NOT making it to the white house. Ron Paul, Nader etc. are NOT going to win the presidency.

I don't think i can name 1000 positive things about ANYONE, would take too long, and hell i can't think of that many things without just restating stuff and switching around words, or loosing all general statements. and reverting to things like "she has nice hair" "she has nice eyes" "she has nice eyebrows" "the way she walks is cool" "the way she talks is cool" instead of "i enjoy her body" and "i enjoy her mannerisms"
