Can someone explain it to me? The Wikipedia page is confusing.

presumably you mean the African philosophy, rather than the Operating System?

As I understand it, a simple definition would be
I am what I am, because you are what you are, and we are all connected

anyway, it basically boils down to being part of a tight-nit group, and group dynamics

if you advance the group as a whole, a by-product is you advance all the individuals in the group, including yourself
One improvement shared by many is more efficient than simply improving yourself, or someone else alone

So it's philisophical socialism?

You mean the operating system based around Linux, that is basically like windows? Or the philosophy that everyone should be kind and friendly towards each other, and promotes groups working together.

Both are fairly straight forward and simple. So am not sure what is confusing you.
