Ghost Hunters vs Ghost Adventures!!!

Ghost Hunters vs Ghost Adventures!! The Expected vs the Incredible!! Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures are two popular ghost huntin shows. This thread is about which you feel is more credible and why!!! It would help then if you've seen at least one episode of either show (obviously!!). It would also help if you are open minded enough to believe in the possibility of ghosts. Otherwise you are by default biased against Ghost Adventures because they have footage of supposed ghosts. I want to define credible before this thread derails. I'm sure both TV shows would love to convert skeptics, but let's be honest here THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT! Neither of these shows are set up to prove without a doubt that ghosts exist. So absolute proof that ghosts exist is not what I mean by credible. So what do I mean by credible?? By credible I mean that the main crew members of either show are NOT acting. That when they are scared, it's genuine fear!! That none of their lines are scripted, and all of their reactions are 100% real. We fans wanna know when these tough guys genuinely lose their cool ....If it's acting......then boooooo By credible I mean that none of the events that take place in these supposed haunted places are hoaxes. By credible I mean that the crew members themselves believe in ghosts, believe they are contacting ghosts, and believe that their devices do in fact detect ghost activity. We want real paranormal investigators here! No chicken pretenders! So which is it? Ghost Hunters, or Ghost Adventures?? G. Hunter fans say this show is better because it's more scientific, that they look for obvious logical answers before turning to the paranormal. Fans also like this show because they say this crew respects the spirits more, as thinking conscious beings - rather than things that just go bump in the night. I started out as a G. Hunter fan! Then one day I saw a G. Adventure episode, boy was I in for a treat. It wasn't any episode, it was the infamous 'brick' episode! Just google ghost adventure brick - there's plenty of buzz on it. Were talking about full poltergheist activity.......on video?? It can't be real......right? I'm sure when G. Adventures first aired, it recieved high ratings!! It was exciting, it was fun, and it made G. Hunters look...boooooorriiiiiinnnngg. But it was also too good to be true............Full body manifestations on VIDEO? Bricks flying? Scratches and bodily possessions? Now must people come to the conclusion without any evidence mind you, that G. Adventures is a hoax. And they base this conclusion on one thing..........because their adventures are just too incredible . On the other hand most people conclude that G. Hunters is authentic, because it's what they expect ghost hunters anywhere to find...that is............not much! But is something being too incredible enough of a reason to conclude it must be fake?? How many times do we have to analyze a video before we can believe in it? Or is the answer simply, you never can believe the video? So which is it? Which of these fun shows is more credible and why?? My choice is ghost adventures. I know I know I know. It's true, at first they seem like three idiots just out for a scare. No respect for the dead, and not nearly as professional as ghost hunters. I am rooting for them because I find its tooooooo eeeasssy to ignore the incredible because it wasn't what you expected. So they have footage of bricks flying. So what. So people can recreate the brick video all they want, it still won't be proof of what actually did occur that day. But more importantly I am rooting for ghost adventures because I find their reactions more honest and real! Which tells me, at least they believe they are contacting spirits (even if you think its just rats)! Who are you rooting for?

I just know of that from South Park. Reality Shows never have anything to do with reality though.

to me neither of these groups are credible, I think there is no credibility in ghost chases period, but thats my own personal belief that ghosts are fictional.

^ yes...he said this topic was for people who do think there is a possibility of ghosts.. anyways, I find neither to be particularly credible. but whichever one is on the discovery channel seems to be the more convincing one to me.

to me neither of these groups are credible, I think there is no credibility in ghost chases period, but thats my own personal belief that ghosts are fictional. Like what Jur said, it's for entertainment purposes only, and not meant to convince you. I seen GH 1 time because everyone was talking about it, i could not even stand the 1 episode.

Never heard of either of these shows but I do watch ghost lab and paranormal state. I think both shows are rigged though. It is very entertaining to watch.
