Music slowing down after arobic excersise

I've noticed for the longest time, after i finish playing basketball, or skating, running ect; when I get in my car and listen to music, it sounds slower. I just wanted to know what is this called.

      Relativity?

I get the same thing, but it's usually correspondent to my pulse/breath.

Quitting smoking pot makes music seem either faster or slower sometimes for me.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I think the perception of time is affected by your mood, as in, level of excitation. I know this is common sense when concerning long periods of time, but short ones like in music is something I never really paid attention.

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

      It could be adrenaline.

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.

O.o do you guys feel adrenaline after aerobic exercise? Of course I know my heart rate increases, but I always thought it to be mostly due to the sympathetic system.

some hallucinogens make music seem to have depth and shape and color too. =O thought i'd throw that out there.

never noticed what you described though. anything sober is usually always the same to me. still nice, but always the same. (course i've never been sober)

although i've noticed that after a lot of exercise, if i sit down it looks like everything is slowly moving towards me or away from me. it's weird. happens mostly after mowing the lawn. =P
