      I just had teeth removed

      My 2 upper wisdom teeth. My mouth is very small so it took a while for them to crank it out, it almost felt like my mouth was getting ripped apart.

      Ahh yeah, mine were a bitch before I got them out. Though when I had mine pulled, I was put to sleep...I take it you weren't? O_O;

      Were you stitched up or just packed?
      Either way, don't smoke or drink through a straw for a few days. The sucking action dislodges and clots that are forming to heal the wounds and air can cause extreme pain.

      teeth extraction is no fun!!! Heal quickly and feel better soon.

      A friend of mine left is wisdom teeth untreated. There wasn't enough room for them so they was forced into his jaw or something. Long story short, he broke his jaw. :L

      I really don't think this thread should be here.

      Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
      Look out on a summers day,
      with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.

      I took a tiny pill that seemed to do nothing for me. They put my mouth to sleep but i was fully awake for the thing. I did not feel any pain, but when taking it out the pressure felt like my mouth was being ripped apart. I had a death grip on the chair. My mouth is tiny, one of the smallest mouths he's worked with, so there is not alot of room for the sucktion, and the thing he was using. Took him a while because the roots were pretty deep. It's been a week yesterday, but my mouth is just about pain free. If the teeth start to hurt, i just ice it for 5-10 and it's good for a few+ hours, but have not iced it in several days. Mouth started hurting when i had something hard on the Sunday, a few days after the extraction.

      It belongs here, it's a health related topic, just about the teeth.

      It's a simple procedure not really worth talking about. What do you expect to get from this thread? People's experiences with wisdom teeth being removed? Not very beneficial.
