I hyperventilated one time when I was driving, not knowing it could make me pass out. I almost passed out. I'll never try that again.

I fainted once and blacked out about 99% once (blind, unable to stand) due to marijuana induced panic attacks.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I fainted once I think. I was siting on the couch, when I suddenly decided I wanted to extend the awning. So I rose and moved to the electrical switch in a flash, and stretched to reach it (the switch was located right under the ceiling). Next thing I remember I was on the floor, wondering how I'd got there and how long I'd been there.

      Every sorrow she can mend.
When i visit her dark realm,
      Does it simply overwhelm.

That happens to my lightweight friend (no offense ) but I blacked out a little iwhen we have more then an ounce of kush and my friends piece, but when we were about half way through, we heard cop cars and(after we almost pissed ourselfs) ran in to the denser forest.

Another time I almost passed out is when we were having a wrestling tourney and my friend got me in a choke hold. I refused to tap out, but I started blacking out and my friend let go a bit-which is what I was waiting for. Hehe, but it sucks to have it happen to you, Whenever it happens to me I freak out, I wouldn't suggest to do it.

I have never blacked out in my life, i've came close once from snow blindness but i've never tried to black myself out, and still don't want to. It's pretty stupid trying to black yourself out if you ask me.

Well, there's pot that is even more intense than Kush. Have you ever heard of Blue Hawaiian? It is supposed to be in second place after Skunk. It is also the type you are supposed to smoke one hit of, and it is creeper, which means you don't notice much until after a while. I was at a party and some guy I didn't know offered me some tokes of of weed but didn't tell me it was Blue Hawaiian. He had to go talk to somebody he saw, so he told me to hit it as much as I wanted because he had tons of it. After my usual four or five hits, I didn't notice a thing. So I kept smoking and smoking. I ended up smoking twenty hits. Then I suddenly got slammed by down by it like I had been hit by a freight train. I couldn't see a thing, and I started sliding down the car I was leaning against and couldn't do anything about it. People started crowding around me and trying to get my attention, but I couldn't talk. I was completely convinced I was about to die. After a few minutes, the nightmare ended and I was just really stoned but could see, walk, and talk.

The other time, I was having ultra-severe anxiety over something going on in my life, and the pot gave me enough anxiety to push me over the edge. I fainted while standing up and fell backwards, and luckily somebody caught me and stopped my head from slamming down on the hard kitchen floor.

Drugs are bad. Don't do drugs.

Yeah, panic attacks on weed are the worst. I've never fainted while having one, although I'm sure it is easily achieved by the increase in blood pressure/heart rate.

The closest I've come to fainting is when I was in a steam room for a long time. I was taking deep breaths and for some reason I decided to hold it. The black started filling my vision and by the time I exhaled I was blind and as I breathed my vision came back. I didn't try that again...

This reminds me of an LSD trip I had... which makes me laugh a bit that you're talking about weed. Guess it's not for everyone?

I have been a pot addict for 15 years. (That is not good, boys and girls.) I was just shocked by the creeper effect of 20 hits of Blue Hawaiian.

Lets not forget about accidentally slamming your head into the floor from passing out.

Ooooooohhh yeah. It's been a tough struggle. It's not like heroin or cocaine addiction, but it is a bitch. There are forums on the internet for pot addicts to discuss their addiction. You should check them out and read some accounts. You are still young enough to where you probably have not seen where the habit ends up going for a lot of people. What that stuff was like when I was your age and what it ended up becoming are two very different things. I assure you I am far from alone. The positive effects go down, the negative effects increase, and the cravings increase drastically, for some. I have craved that stuff like oxygen after going long enough without it. I have also lost a lot of money on bets about how long I can go without it. I don't think it's physically addictive, but it is a whole lot like gambling.

When you first started smoking weed (and I mean the first four, five, six years) , was it something you could stop on a whim and go for without months? Or could you simply not stop smoking it.

I am young, and it's true I haven't seen where the majority of my heavy pot-smoking friends are going to end up, but I'm observant enough to see it happening to them in the future. As for myself, I can go from smoking it every single day to going without it for months. I've smoked weed maybe five times since September - wish I could say the same for friends of mine.

I know plenty of weed addicts. I was one myself for a solid year. Practically stoned all day everyday. I don't know what it is, you don't view it as a bad thing really because it's not like heroin or cocaine so you're just kind of like "whatever". It doesn't affect your ability to do most things either, you can easily support the habit of smoking everyday with a minimum wage job. One of my roommates would smoke a bong whenever he woke up in the middle of the night...Often two times or more a night. He would smoke one before work so he could gap out while taking the bus and train to work. He was a great friend, but smoked a lot of pot lol. I'm sure a lot of it had to do with the tobacco they would smoke it with, although I was still addicted even though I never smoked with tobe.

I smoked pot once when I was 12 and once when I was 15, but it didn't really do anything for me. My first time to really be stoned was when I was 19. Back then, I did it about every few weeks and didn't care if I came across it or not. It was just a matter of somebody passing it to me. It was never something I looked or hoped for. That went on for three years. When I was 22, I started smoking it a lot more. I moved to Baton Rouge, lived off college graduation money and had no responsibilites stopping me from smoking, and had a roommate who was an every day smoker. I was in Baton Rouge to have fun, so I got stoned every day. Eventually, I started buying my own bags. I was stoned pretty much every day from the summer of 1994 to the end of 1995. At the beginning of 1996, I gave my first major attempt at quitting. It lasted four months, and then my habit picked right up where I had left it. I had a few more multiple month breaks in the 90's, but I don't have them now. I might go one month, but not four. I'm too addicted now. Howeve, I recently made the decision to stop buying my own bags, and I think I can at least pull that off. It should make a big difference.
