Anyone have any idea how to fix having NO dreams at night would mean?

Because to me it seems that I go to sleep, then wake up the next day 8 hours later, but to me it has only felt like about 10 minutes, with nothing happening in between.

Well, its probably because you are very very exausted.. thats one.. if your talking bout dreaming.. well.. yaa i think thats cause of the same reason.. exaustion ( srry if wrote it wrong ) its the only think i could think of.

If your not exhausted, and your still not dreaming.. try a little of autosugestion.. repeat to yourself while you fall sleep.. " imm going to dream... im going to dreamm.. and im going to remember..." that should help

Get into the habit of writing down your impressions upon waking up. "No recall, feels like no time has passed, only remember dark", that kind of thing. This gets you used to searching your memory upon waking up. Keep this up for a while, and you might start to remember hazy impressions such as colours or vague situations. From there, you'll be able to improve your recall to the point where you'll remember more vivid dreams.

Another idea might be a WBTB (Wake-Back-To-Bed). Set your alarm clock for a couple hours before you normally wake up. Write down whatever you might remember (even if that isn't very much). Go back to sleep, and write again when you normally wake up.

Definitely go to bed earlier and allow your mind to wander, creating a dream-like state. You make wake earlier too - this is a good chance to doze and hopefully have another dream or two.

if you sleep for 8 hours you are having dreams, you are just not recalling them

-set an alarm for earlier than you usually wake up
-lay still upon awakening and search your mind for images from your dreams

lHow do you stay still if you are getting up to turn off the alarm? Oh and How do you stop the sound of the alarm from completely destroying any bit of memory you have of the dream? I never remember a dream if I wake up from an alarm unless the alarm was incorperated into the dream some how.
I accept that my reality is always a dream so if something changes I know I'm right.

a bunch of us use custom alarms on our phones / computers etc, that only go off for a few seconds and then shut off.

however, for a regular alarm just lay back down in the same position you were in and try to remember what you were just thinking.

Also, it helps if you use a ring/alarm that isn't completely jarring. Experiment with different sounds and volumes. You basically want the quietest, most gentle alarm that can still wake you up.

Some people make sure to drink a lot of water before they go to bed. Chances are, you'll wake up naturally having to go to the bathroom. This works, too.

Then get up and try to keep your dreams/impressions of dreams in mind as you go about your business.

Keeping still isn't the focus, although it can help. The idea is to keep the idea of dreaming in your mind, without starting to think about work or "OH GOD THAT STUPID ALARM".
