Experience about remembering a name....

Okay, lately I've been having a lot of dreams that I can't entirely remember, I probably need to start writing them down whenever. Any other times I've had dreams they've seemed random but these seem more important somehow, it's difficult to explain.

Anyway, last night while I was sleeping I didn't really have a dream, but I woke up and said "Remember Leslie ____" Now the problem is I didn't remember the last name.

If anyone has any explanations or similar experiences I'd like to hear. I'll use this topic as a sort of dream journal.

i once had a dream that i was performing in this play, and i had to say the name "met wilson" and i was terrified i would forget it so i wrote the name on my hand.

I woke up and googled "met wilson" and he was the guy that wrote the play the music man. Meredith Wilson.

I had no idea who wrote the music man, nor did i know that met was short for meredith.

Im a norwegian and i was travelling to Berlin to play a few concerts, here i was to meet a russian/german i know online with a hard name, a day before i was supposed to meet him i couldnt remember his name, and kept getting upset about it.. During the night i dreamt that i was googling his name (even spelled correctly) right before my eyes, when i woke up i remembered his name and its stuck ever since.
