      Strange sleep experience, Sleep paralysis?

I recently had a sleep experience that i cant really explain very well (Kinda freaked me out) and was hoping someone could help me out. I call it a sleep experience because I'm not sure if it was dreaming or if it was something along the lines of sleep paralysis. I am more confused than concerned.

I had woken at up around 7:00 AM, and fell in and out of sleep for the next few hours, dreaming normally. Then something weird happened.(the next part i assume was a dream) I was laying in my bed and everything was fine, until i decided to sit up. So i did, but immediately snapped back down into a laying position. This continued for a while. (like it was stuck on a loop) During this i realized that i was in some type of dream state and made an effort to become fully conscious. When this was going on i caught glimpses my room and everything appeared to be normal from what i could tell. I finally "woke" up in a laying position.

I'm having a hard time deciding what had actually happened. I honestly couldn't tell whether my eyes were open, or if i was really sitting up or not. Anyway if anyone knows anything about this or has experienced something like this, please leave some feedback. Thanks. And sorry if this didn't make much sense, it was hard to put into words.

I vote false awakening. You were probably dreaming.

I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

Likewise, you cant teach some one who looks for facts to have faith in the absence of facts.
