Physical pains can create dream content as you experience them

It's kinda similar to when the alarm goes off, then you dream about it. I have some chest problem and when i lay down many times i wake up with chest pain as if my chest tears. Well i was sleeping and I dream about me and a group of students practicing TOUCHLESS KNOCKOUT punching techniques. I was punching(without touching but coming within inches) my partner in the chest several times. Turns out when i woke up i was having that chest pain that i have!!!!! my chest was tearing. good thing i woke up and i was able to stand up so I avoided having worse pain

Yeah I've experienced this before and there isn't a term to describe it that I'm aware of. Typically pain is absent from dreams if it's from your physical body. But other times if it's a more intense pain or trauma it will creep into your dream body. It's nothing more than that.

I've read that external stimuli can seep into your dreams. And if light, sounds, smells and what-nots can seep through, why not pain? The thing with pain and dreams, as I understand it, is that you rarely feel pain in dreams that's not present in your physical body.
