      Strange conscious hallucination

Just wanted to share a very strange experience I had this morning. I had been sleeping and woke up from a dream in which someone told me to listen for music. When I woke up at 4:30am I was still half asleep and tried to listen for music like the person had told me. After a few seconds I realised that it had been a dream and that I wasn't going to hear any music. But I could hear a faint sound of someone speaking, and the more I listened the louder the sound grew until I could hear it clearly as music. It sounded very strange and it's not a song I have ever heard before, it just had a few lines repeating over and over. After a while of listening, I started wonder if it was actually in my head or not as it was so clear and I was very conscious. I even did a RC to check I wasn't dreaming. I noticed a pattern however, my window was open and birds were chirping outside, and it was like whenever the birds chirped a line from the song would be sung. I decided to watch some youtube videos to shift focus away from the music, but after about ten minutes of watching the music was still there. I watched a few more and eventually it disapeared.
I knew that sometimes we can hallucinate after sleeping, but I was fully conscious. Has anyone experienced this kind of hallucination before?

Woah dude your mind is messed up.
Just kidding. It's probably just an after effect of dreaming. Dreams are essentially ultra vivid forms of imagination and sometimes when you wake up from one, your mind is still adjusting from fantasy world to reality.
