I think I speak for everyone when I say sometimes dreams just surprise you so much. Especially in sense. Remember that time when you tasted something extraordinary in a dream and your mind was blown? Well for me, one of those moments occurred again.

I had a dream I went outside in the snow. I've done this before and felt cold, but this time... wow. I was told that it was too cold to go out without gloves, so naturally I did. The feeling was just too amazingly realistic. It was that raw, dry, bone-piercing feeling of coldness you get on freezingly crisp days. And yes, I should have put gloves on.

When I woke up, I was amazed. As I awoke I felt the temperature eerily merge from bitter coldness to a comfortable warmness of being in my bed. I sat up in amazement. Its been a while since I've been able to appreciate a dream like that.

Anyone else experienced something similar, and how exactly do we feel such convincing realistic feelings of hot and cold? Is it truly just the power of the mind, or is there more to it?
