I want to bump this because of what I've been thinking of lately. Is there any way to actively do this for every REM cycle/dream? |

Does anyone notice that after a dream (non-lucid, i don't know if this happens with lucid dreams or not too...) they wake up for a few seconds? I noticed last night that after two dreams I had that I woke up for about 3 seconds, because I remember looking at the clock at 3:30 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. I also noticed that I tend to remember dreams that are near the time that I choose to wake up. I usually remember the last two dreams of the night. |

You wake up after every sleep cycle, which is about every 90 minutes to start off with. The more you sleep, the lighter you sleep, and the shorter these cycles become as REM periods occur closer together. |

So, is there any way to sleep lighter normally so you have a higher chance of waking more frequently after them/remembering them easier? |
