Question I need help with DILD!

I use DILD because none of the other ones seem to work for me. I remember only getting into sleep paralysis twice but i had no idea what to do after i got in.

Anyway, whenever I have a DILD it only lasts about 2 seconds! I try rubbing my hands then asking the dream to be more lucid then i say over and over "dont forget you are dreaming" but it just goes away and goes back into a non lucid dream its just really annoying! What can I do about it? By the way when im in the DILD it still feels like a non lucid :/

One more thing, in most of my dreams i get this feeling when im about to wake up where i suddenly go "im dreaming but im waking up" could this lead to a lucid dream?
      Thanks!!

Looks to me you are struggling with Dream Control and Stabilisation, don't worry, it comes naturally with practice but there is a few pointers/techniques.
      Rub your hands together.
      Shout out "Stabilise" or "Clarify".
Feel around the dream, observe details, make your brain work on creating the dream.
      Avoid closing your eyes.

By the way when im in the DILD it still feels like a non lucid :/
If you realise you are dreaming then it is a lucid, the amount of conciousness does not affect if it is a lucid.

Well done! (What the heck is your avatar! :O)
