Smile I'm not really sure what to call this haha, dreams that sort of come true?

I'm just sort of wondering if there is a reason for this or if this happens to someone else?

The first one I was pretty young and it was about my grandpa that I had never met before because he died about three years before I was born. In the dream he was sitting in a chair in this horrendously decorated room (by my tastes) in a blue shirt, khaki pants and an oxygen tank. I told my mom about it later and turns out there was a picture of him in that same scenario, same ugly room same outfit and the same oxygen tank.

The more recent one is not as exact though. In the dream I was at the beach with my friends (strange things happened but its a dream and strange things happen all the time so I'll ignore those hahah) but also in the dream I hurt my left foot big toe and it just would not stop bleeding, it was crazy.
That next weekend my sister came to visit me at school and while we were talking she pulled off her sock and was like, " man my toe is still bleeding" and I was like, " um what?" and she goes, " My friends and I were at the beach a few weeks ago and I cut my big toe and its still bleeding, its been almost a week"

I'm not really bothered by them to be honest, except I don't enjoy having car crash dreams and worrying about them coming true hahaha

So yeah, anyone have any words or knowledge on this?

Well i think there is much more to say. What Spaz described doesn't seem to me as deja vu.
I thougt peeps here on DV know everything there is to know about dreaming...

Parts from Wiki : Deja Vu - is the experience of feeling sure that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation.... ( notice its the feeling , not the exact act of precognition, usually the feeling is unexpected and not so clear )
... but rather that it is an anomaly of memory, giving the false impression that an experience is "being recalled.. ( thats a common explanation )

Deja vu for me is this strane feeling. When you have no proof, just the sudden unexpected feelieng caused by some real life experience.
Logic tells me that its probably hard to say if its only just an brain anomaly or maybe an act of unexpected come back of some dreamed or imagined scenario. This way or the other; deja vu is not the case here.

From what Spaz writes - he has proof. He cousiously remembered the dream before the sittuation (or simmilar) happend in reality. Thats not a deja vu! Its closer to precognitive dream.
There are multiple theories about this topic.
From what quantum phisics say - we are all interconncted - so there is a way of getting information thats phisicly seems beyond our reach. Simmilar opinions emerge from Buddism theories (or rather practics). Buddists beleve in so called "clarity dreams" ( not sure if this is the correct name in english ). In brief : This kind of dreams are known by extreeme creativity and acts of precognition. Buddism also tells us that we are all connected just as todays phisics. Can they both be wrong?

This kind of dreams happend to me also. Definitly not a deja vu ( i also had alot of those ). I have written down dreams that have happend later in reality ( every thing was exacly the same ). Could this be coincidence? thats what the sceptics would say

"..I'm not really bothered by them to be honest, except I don't enjoy having car crash dreams and worrying about them coming true hahaha ..."
      - No worries - not every dream will happen Maybe this kind of dreams wont even happen any more to you. If the message will be important - i beleve you will feel/know this importance.

Thats a long story made short Hope this helped.

Nope I don't know much about dreams so I'm learning too. I was just helping to bump the post till someone more knowledgeable about it replies.

Deja Vu was the only term I could think of when I see things like this. Sure it could be a coincidence, just note that every coincidence is a possibility.

I call them precognitive dreams, though I'm not sure whether it is the right term. Many of us have such experiences, especially when it comes to loved ones.
I can remember a dream similar to the second one you described. And I still don't have an explanation. I don't want to tell the dream, but a very strong pain woke me up, my heart was throbbing, I was sweating in the bed. I thought I had high body temperature, but they phoned from the hospital in a few minutes to tell me that my brother was to have surgery and that his life was in danger.
