      About last night's dream.

I think I had several different dreams back-to-back but in all of them I was aware of what I was doing but I wasn't lucid. I had no idea it was a dream. I remember me and this girl were performing (I think) for the town folks. We were up on a balcony doing hand stands and stuff like that. I was a rather large guy (far bigger than the real me) and she was short.

Somehow she fell off the balcony and landed on her bottom, lol. I jumped off the balcony and levitated down slowly... I picked her up in my arms, closed my eyes, and begin to levitate back up to the balcony slowly. It's like levitation comes naturally in dreams for some reason. Even if you honestly have no idea that you're dreaming, you know you can levitate... Now, why is that?

When we got to the top, I joked with her and patted her on the head. Well, she didn't like it and told me to stop patting her on her head, lol.

My theory is most of the time we know we are dreaming, we just forget about it or cant rationalize (with that part of the brain switched off) what that implies. We could be really engrossed in the dream, or for instance with yours, with a girl, and though we know it is a dream, we don't pay that thought much attention, theres too much else going on!
Most of my few lucids have come about because I already knew I was dreaming, all it took was someone or something to make me pay more attention to that thought, once I thought about it for litterally 2-3 seconds I realised - by being in a dream, I am lucid and can do what I want!
