i need help understanding this dream as it scared me a little...

Ok so i had a baby on 01/01/12 she was five weeks early and very unwell ive been having a few problems lately with regards to pnd. I dont know if this is relevent to the dream but ive shared incase it is. So heres the dream ; Im at a night club with my daughter and my best friend (why i have my aughter eith me i dont know as shes only 4 months old). Then all of a sudden i am outside holding my daughter close to me and walking towars the bus stop when a girl who i have never seen before in my life walks up to me with a gang of her friends and starts to beat me up whilst im still holding my child. Her friends dont do anything and my best friend has walked off while im screaming for her to help me. Then i woke up. I have no idea what its about and i have never had a dream like it before i woke nearly crying and had to go.and check to see if my daughter was ok. Can someone please enligten me on what this dream could possibly mean??

It comes across to me that your just worried about your daughter a lot, that's why its seeping into your dreams. The girls that beat you up represent things that might hurt your daughter in real life, your friend leaving and not helping you tells me that you feel helpless about certain aspects concerning your daughter. This is just what I thought off the top of my head, but you should probably stop worrying so much and try to reduce your anxiety.

I'd imagine the girls beating you up represent perceived negativity from others or insecurities regarding your new baby. I think you're worrying about your daughter like any good mother would.
