Question Possible New Online Social Dream Journal

Hi everyone. Its been a LONG time since visiting DreamViews for me. Im beginning to rekindle my old interest in dreaming and looking for ways to integrate my new passions.

I do a lot of web development for a family member's design company, but have been looking for my own project.

I was thinking of making an website that functions as a dream social network. You would be able to post all your dreams onto your own journal with the option of making those posts private if you want. Just like on FB you can connect to friend's journals by adding them, and then get their dream feeds on a home page. You would have the features of tagging friends that appear in your dreams and voting up interesting dreams.

Some of my friend's started a google doc about a year ago and have been posting our dreams to this fairly regularly. It's been very interesting to read other friend's dreams and comment on them.

Do you think you would use a resource like this if it existed?
      Lucid Goals:
[ ] have four lucid dreams in one week
[X] be able to fly in a lucid dream
[ ] complete a lucid task of the month
      [ ] have a conversation with my own sub-conscious

I guess the difference is that on DreamViews, you don't actually know the people whose dreams you are reading. You don't have the option to subscribe to someone's dream journal. I would imagine that on this site, you would only see your friend's dreams if they choose to share them. It makes it way more personal. Also, the whole purpose of the site would be to function as a online social dream journal, whereas DreamViews (as you pointed out) is much more, which limits its audience a little more.

I really like the concept but it has a few flaws that I think would keep it back.

At least for me, I do not have a high enough percentage of friends that are actually interested in their dreams, much less putting in the effort to record them and then read mine and vote on them. I have the feeling that I am in the majority when it comes to this.

Another thing, with the friends that I DO have who are interested in their dreams we talk about our dreams face to face, which I find much more organic and fascinating.
