Cool I have 2 Questions For You Guys:

      1. How do you use a dream journal? What do you do in it after you have a dream? Tell me exactly everything.

      2. How do you use dream signs to realize your dreaming?

You just write your dreams in it. Maybe rate your dreams on vividness, plot etc.

After I have done writing my dream, I underline the parts of the dream that were strange and by noticing it I could have become lucid.

For example:- 1) I saw a guy flying.
      2) I saw the guy in the mask kill the dog.

Yeah, the answer above says it all, I guess. Practicing ADA (All Day Awareness) really helps in noticing such signs.

The Dream Journal is both a way for me to practise to remember my dreams, and to think about them.

But also a way to log my attempts and to analyze them.

I approach lucid dreaming with a scientist's eyes and my dream journal is my notes from experiments.

I don't only focus on writing down my lucid dreams, I also write down my normal dreams to observe the result of my method.
Did I got more vivid dreams? Did I remember more dreams? Was I more aware of them?

What went "wrong" and what went "right"? - What's the cause etc. By doing that I come up with different theories and explanations for everything that I can add to my bigger picture of it all.

I also analyze some meanings of my dreams from time to time, to learn about myself.

This is the way I progress and learn new things for every night that goes by.

      2. I actually don't use dreamsigns. A tutorial would say one should reality check each time one recognise a dreamsign in physical reality, but for me that is contra-productive because when I put awareness on my dream signs during the day I don't dream of them anymore during the night, it's a curse of mine. ^-^

So instead I just focus on increasing awareness on the model I use to describe dreams. (Subconscious, memories and emotions) and I do this through meditation.

And by having a meditative state as I go to sleep, I also have a meditative state when I dream, so I am aware of my subconscious, memories and emotions easier and thereby also more aware of my dream. It's not a perfect model since dreams aren't literally consisting of these parts, but it is atleast always an experience with these three components in them.

But if you don't have that dream sign curse it can be a very effective tool.

      Sweet dreams!
