Thread: Fear of animals in dreams?

For the past month and a half, I've been having quite a few dreams that I am terrified of animals.
The thing is, I am not terrified of animals at all. I currently work at a zoo and animals are my absolute favorite things in the world.

It started when I had a dream that there were tarantulas in my house and I was terrified of them. But I used to own a tarantula and I was most certainly not terrified of her at all. I never had any problem picking her up.

Then I had a dream that I was terrified of hermit crabs. (And I definitely am not. I love hermies)

Then a few others. Then just last night I had a dream that it was late and this cat started coming towards me and I was terrified that it would attack me. Then it started talking and said I be scared because theres something sitting on the rock and i should be terrified of it. But there was nothing sitting on the rock, but the cat insisted there was. (and I was terrified of both the cat and the imaginary thing sitting on the rock)

Then today I had a dream that I was terrified of snakes. Again, I am definitely not. In the dream I bought a ball python as a pet, and progressively I began to fear it more and more. And also there a california kingsnake that kept trying to bite me. And I just recently bought a california kingsnake for my bf and it looked like the same exact one except bigger.

I have no idea what this means. I am definitely not scared of any of these animals at all.

I've also been having dreams about my bf cheating on me. I don't know if this has anything to do with it. My friends just said I need to just stop eating sugar before bed:p

If anyone has any ideas about what the heck any of this means I'd appreciate it
