      End of the World Dream

Not last night, but the night before, I had a dream that frightened the hell out of me. It was about the end of the world. Everyone was either in a state of panic or the complete opposite. It was pretty similar to the 21st December 2012 where people were skeptical about whether the world would end and what triggered these rumors. Anyway, I was with my Uncle in a strange place that I have never seen before. It was like old Fashioned Victorian Britain and covered in snow. The Uncle that I was with in the dream is part of what made the dream strange because in real life I haven't spoken to him for around seven years. We had a huge family dispute that will never ever be resolved. In the dream I said to my Uncle that I was scared of the world ending and scared of dying and hr told me not to worry because we won't feel a thing. He told me that when the world ends it will be when everything freezes over and that we will all die instantly. I put my trust in him. However, the next day I was out walking with my Uncle and some other people who I can't exactly remember. We could see people around us dropping dead and struggling with breathing. Then I fell weak and my Uncle caught me and gently lowered me to the ground. At this point I started dying and floated off (in spirit). I didn't realize I was dead because I could see everything as normal. I walked off to my Uncles shop where my Cousin and Uncle both were. At this point I heard them all talking about me saying that I needed to be moved as I had died on the street. I went outside and looked over the road and there I was, dying in my Uncles arms. (Wierd I know because he was now in the shop). I then went into the shop and my Cousin freaked out saying don't touch me Paige because I know its you and your dead. Then my Uncle noticed me touching him and breathing on him and he started answering my questions even though I wasn't able to communicate with him. I asked him if my spirit would stay around forever so that I could keep a watch over my family and see them and let them know i'm OK. He said no, and that my spirit will be gone in a few days when I have died fully, and then everyone will forget about me and I won't be able to see anyone again because I will just black out for eternity.
I woke up so frightened and screaming! This dream was so realistic and for me, its not made my thoughts about what happens after death any more clear or less scary!

Interesting dream. I had an Armageddon dream a few months ago too. Everyone was being blown away by something in the dream that I understood to be "solar wind."

Our culture is obsessed with death, so we can't help but be exposed to these sensational apocalypse rumors. Perhaps these dreams represent our subconsciousnesses simulating the worst, so if people do start dropping dead for no reason or getting gusted off into space, we'll have some trial runs under our belts.

No, I think you got it wrong. Strange dreams are a blessing.

Oh yeah, I had a dream like that! I was in an airplane with my friend. It was sunset and we were watching this meteor on the horizon. All of a sudden it totally EXPLODED! The sky went red and the shockwave covered basically as far as I could see over the landscape. Then the airplane abruptly tilted downward and I was all "THIS IS THE EEEEEEEEND!" I woke up hyperventilating.
