I Think I'm In Love With A Dream Character.

I know, it sounds stupid.

Last year, in around June/July, I had a dream where I met a guy at my anime club I go to. We fell for each other, but our parents didn't approve. We ended up running away with each other. I can't stop thinking about him, and I know it's stupid, but I always think about what I'd do if he was real. What does this mean? I know there's no chance of him being real, so how can I forget him?
It wasn't a lucid dream, and I actually started trying to lucid dream recently just to meet him again.

Your best option in my opinion is to forget him and find love in real life, and maybe optionally use him for inspiration of some sort(when you're in REAL need of some).
But even if you do manage to master lucid dream and u keep going back to this DC, you'll just in a way keep falling in love with yourself, which would make you super introverti and cut you out from the real world. You may still use him for fun, but in no case fall in love! Try to find love in the physical world. Then again, I don't know you personally, so this is just my opinion

I guess it's kinda like when you get in love with a movie character, it just happens nothing do to about it really. If you meet him again, great. But it's more of an attraction than actual love. So what you do is to not let it eat you up.

I really understand you and it's not more or less stupid than getting in love with a movie character. See it as a love fantasy like a dream guy.

If that doesn't work try to get new people to hang around with (Not saying to stop being with your old friends just find a new guy or a new friend) So they can take away your thoughts for a second. Make yourself busy, maybe you're in school think about that instead. Most of these things depend on distraction if you can think on something else then you'll soon forget him, I promis.
