I'm curious. What exactly do you guys think makes a particular environment in a game/movie/book really "dreamy"? I was thinking about it recently. What I have in mind is, for example, Myst. What trait (in your opinion) gives these things that dream-reminiscent feel. Personally, it seems a sense of solitude/separation and curiosity gives me that feeling. Another example is that new Steam Greenlight game, Dream. Just watching the videos, (at least for me) the game's atmosphere seems to be oozing with dreaminess. Although, that's kind of the point, I suppose. Anyhow, what do you guys say about this? |

V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey: Well I can see that...
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation. I'm simply remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
