I've heard it thrown at me when I explain my long and vivid dreams. I don't really know what kind of evidence would prove such a thing, though. Google doesn't help, but I don't want to argue, so I just say "ok". |

Your brain stores everything you have seen, you can make anything out of the things you have seen, even something unique, even something like a whole new breed of human beings, even a new colour if you want to go that far. |

There was a book written a few years ago by a guy who presented evidence that dreams are mostly random and mostly have no useful meaning. From random firings in the brain or something. |
