Avalanches and Angels

Ok to put things into a little perspective. I am borderline Agnostic/Atheist. No problem with religious beliefs. Just not really bothered. Alright, to my dream. It was incredibly vivid. I dreamt this a week ago and I can still remember most of the details. I am in a log cabin on the side of a snowy mountain. (I live in a hot country that never snows and in a brick house). Anyway, I hear a great rumble, and an earthquake. I watch as one wall gets washed away and then its just blackness. I know I've been swept away by an avalanche. Then the dream starts again - same night. But this time just before the avalanche hits, something grabs me and takes me to a safe side of the mountain. I look and see a very handsome blonde angel (Yes I should write a book about it haha). The detail however is crazy. I see little feathers in his hair and larger ones on his back. It felt like I could touch his hair and feel it in my fingers. He then spoke to me but it was muffled. I couldn't hear anything he said! Then there was another angel speaking to him. He wasn't in such crisp detail, all I know is he had black hair. They chatted a bit and then the blonde angel flew off and disappeared into a blue light - like a portal. I then returned to where my log cabin had been, and was suddenly warning my neighbours about an avalanche that may hit them and that they must leave the mountain. Only one guy, who lived next door to me (yeah space is weird, as if the first avalanche only hit my house). He was a balding old man, maybe in his 80s? He refused to leave. Said that there had never been an avalanche in all the years he has lived there. And then I woke up...:P Any thoughts? This is the first dream that has really bothered me.

I actually once was in an avelanche in real life, and the avelanche was also the time of my most profound spiritual experience. Recently I have been reading the book "The Power of Now" by Eckhard Tolle, and something he said made me understand what happened to me better. He said that when we are in a dangerous situation we naturally become more aware spiritually, reaching a state of presence in the moment and able to tap into our inner power by concentrating focusing fully on that moment. That's why there are so many reports of people doing extraordinary feats in emergencies. I wonder whether this is what your dream is about: a revelation of sort in an emergency situation. The angel may just symbolize your realizing something profound. An epiphany or enlightenment or revelation.
