      someone asking for forgiveness

Hello everyone i woke up not to long ago to a dream that i don't know what to make of. In the dream I was looking for some girl i never met before. I started looking for her while the sun was still up and could not find her. Later i realize it is night time and see myself walking out of my room heading to the bathroom and I see her walking out of the bathroom. I walk up to her and hug her. When i look at her in the eyes she looks away and i tell her "You scared me" it was not the feeling of surprise it was more of relief that she was able to return she then says to me "I am sorry". I then tell her "I am just relived". She starts to cry and asks "will you forgive me?". I was unable to reply and i woke up. The thing is the moment i hugged her i felt peace and happiness just for a second and right after she asked me for forgiveness it all went away. I never met her before and i cant really understand why someone would cry in my dream and would ask me to forgive them. I would kind of understand if it was a family member that got me mad but i am not mad at anyone at the moment. Then i thought maybe i was watching something sad before i slept. I really cant see how call of duty can bring that kind of dream up. It is not a girlfriend i know that much is for sure. So what i would like to know has anyone had a dream like this or have an idea of what it could mean?

My general rule of thumb for dreams is how frequently you have them. If you have one isolated dream it's likely just your imagination running wild. If it's a recurring pattern of the same or similar dreams there's likely something in your life that needs addressed ( relationship trouble, money problems, stressful event coming up etc). It might be a good idea to write your dreams down for a while and see if there's a pattern to them. Remember this girl was a product of your mind so unless she resembles someone from your life ( and you say she doesn't) then it's unlikely you will have this dream again. If you do then it gets interesting!
