Hello,
I have an REM dreamer lucid dream mask, Ive read recently that recent experiments have proven that receiving a 25 to 40 hz electric current to the scalp while in REM sleep significantly increases lucid dreams.
I imagine that a dream mask that can facilitate this function would be years off, knowing the pace that this technology takes to get to the market place.
This lead me to the idea of creating my own with the use of the REM dreamer mask I already own, and utilising its REM detection function.
The way I see it all I would need is a light detector (to detect the flashing red lights from the REM mask once in REM sleep) a battery, and a device to deliver the current to the scalp (not sure of the name?)
Anybody have any views on if this could work or further details on how this might work, for example suggestions of the best area of the scalp to attach the electrical conductor to, what kind of battery to use, the best way to construct this device. etc?
Thanks
