why can I only freestyle rap in my dreams??? no literally. if you ask me to free style rap I'd have to decline because I suck at it. though I've had three or four dreams where I was really good. i 'm not even talking by dream logic standards. I mean s honest to god talent with some [dope rhymes and everything. so we is it I can only "literally" free style rap in my dreams

Hmmm, that is really interesting. It sounds like you have a hidden talent but have yet to really unlock it. Have you done this in a lucid dream? I would guess that if you manage to do this often in your dreams, the practice would carry over a bit when you are awake as well. I believe my speaking skills come from my dreams, I have always been somewhat timid in public, but on the rare occasion that I do speak up, I usually appear pretty confident (I'm not), since I am very extroverted and talkative in many of my dreams.

Haha. This is exactly the same for me. I can only freestyle when super-smashed or dreaming.

I don't know alot about this stuff, but using our normal thinking methods for coming up with something obviously just isn't fast enough to freestyle. So I suspect that without a lot of practice it is only possible to freestyle well if you in a way act as a mouthpiece for something other than yourself or another part of your self, the unconscious for instance. You are in a way channeling the freestyle more than you are making it. As soon as you get self conscious about what you're doing it falls apart. It's a completely different state of mind.
