I think my favorite part about writing down in m dream journal is that i begin to remember all sorts of dreams that i have long forgotten. Is it possible that our brain is holding all of our dreams in memory and we just need to have a similar dream to unlock it? for example, last night i dreamed i was in a clear elevator... i woke up and half way into my morning shower i remembered 4 other dreams i have had in the past that all involved elevators. Anyone else have this sort of expierience?

      i knwo what you mean

i find that it is sometimes hard to remember my dream even right after waking up, but i often remember an hour later becouse of something that reminded me of my dream in real life

Keeping a journal helps me realize things that I dream about a lot and are good dream signs.

I can still remember quite a few dreams that i had for many years ago, i've never written them down, maybe i should. My favorite part about keeping a dream journal is writing the dream. I like writing, but i've never been good at it before. But it's easy writing a story when you have experienced it all up close.

You start remembering dreams you had 10 years ago

The brain is amazing how it stores all your dreams and you just need somthing to trigger it even after 10 years

I'm really surprized with all the things the human brain can do.

I do remember other dreams by remembering last nights dream. I just remebered one now but I'm pretty sure I already have that one written down. What really bugs me is that while I'm trying to think of lasts nights dream I think about 20 other dreams the had a while ago before finally being able to recall last nights.

I'm interested in "re-dreaming" a specific dream of mine. Are there any methods you all might suggest? Besides reading the DJ before bed; I read my DJ all the time already!!!
