      Ok just a question when y'all are having a normal dream (not an ld&#33 can you control yourself, or is it just like you are watching a movie through your eyes? I have both. Just wondering.

      Hello,

      Being aware is being lucid. When you take control of the flow of the dream, you are doing so for either self-preservation, or self-development, or both.

      But you can as well watch the sequence unfolding in your mind, and be aware at the same time that all that you are watching is a dream. Invariably, though, you keep nudging the sequence here and there, to suit your fancy. Which means that you do exert control over the flow, albeit inconsistently.
